This watch maison was founded in 1911 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It was founded by Eugene Blum and Alice Levy, a married couple whose name, "Eugene Blum et Levy," comes from their initials. Pierre-Alain Blum, the third generation president, adopted the motto "Architects of Time" and introduced stylish timepieces. He is also known for being one of the first to focus on ergonomics and creating watches with excellent wearability. In the 80s, he developed the excellent in-house chronograph caliber 137, based on the Lemania caliber 1350. In 2003, he became part of the Movado Group. His signature works include the "1911" (1986).
