Also known as a polished finish. This refers to a finish that is polished like a chain. It is mainly used to finish bridges and parts. Because it requires careful polishing of perfectly smooth surfaces, it is only seen in some high-end watches. Those that have a mirror finish using tinplate are specifically called black polish.
