Boucheron

Boucheron

This jewelry brand was founded in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron. It rose to fame under the reign of Napoleon III, winning gold medals at the 1867 and 1878 Paris World's Fairs. Major clients during this period included Russian Tsar Alexander II and the American railroad magnate, the Vanderbilt family. While best known as a high jeweler, the brand began manufacturing watches in the 1880s. This year, marking its 150th anniversary, the brand announced that it would collaborate with Richard Mille to create a complicated watch. Since 2000, the brand has been part of the Gucci Group (now the Kering Group).
