This watch brand was founded in 1777. Its founder was Abraham-Louis Perrelet, who developed the world's first automatic winding mechanism. The brand was revived in 1995 and released a patented double-rotor automatic winding mechanism with a rotor on the dial side as well. In recent years, the brand has expanded beyond just double rotors to include models with complex functions such as five-minute repeaters, jumping hours, and big moon phases that deviate by only one day every 100 years.
