　Chronoswiss celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023. Based on the concept of "modern mechanical," the brand manufactures original watches by incorporating classical mechanisms and manufacturing methods while combining modern design and technology.

　To mark its 40th anniversary, Chronoswiss redefined the Delphis. The Delphis was a retrograde model introduced by the brand in 1996. The Delphis Oracle was created based on the Delphis, combining tradition with cutting-edge technology. Its distinctive feature is its raised dial, combining guilloching and enamel. This guilloching is not pressed, but hand-engraved by artisans on a manual lathe. The enamel is also crafted using traditional methods. Seven layers of translucent blue enamel are applied and fired, followed by a polished finish. This model, with its distortion-free enamel applied to the curved dial, demonstrates Chronoswiss's technological prowess.

　The design is characteristically original, with a unique crescent-shaped 18K gold frame. The small seconds subdial, like the main dial, is a combination of guilloché and enamel, and stands out against the sandblasted background dial, creating a striking effect.

　Chronoswiss founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang aspired to revive the Swiss watch industry, which was in decline at the time, and actually contributed to its recovery. Today, Chronoswiss continues to cultivate its know-how in its Lucerne atelier while preserving the traditional Swiss watchmaking methods. The 40th anniversary model conveys Chronoswiss's commitment to carrying on the spirit of its founding and connecting traditional Swiss mechanical watches to the future.
