[Results Announced] Readers' Choice Watch Ranking: "The Hottest Diving Watches"

The "Chronos Top 10 Watches Rankings," a reader's choice, was launched in conjunction with a regular feature in the Japanese edition of Chronos. This time, we will announce the results of a survey conducted on the theme of "The Latest Dive Watches." Dive watches are a fiercely competitive field, with many masterpieces. There are also many enthusiasts with their own opinions, and we received a large number of comments.

The much anticipated results are announced!

　The "Chronos Top 10 Watches Rankings" is a regular feature of the Japanese edition of Chronos. Each judge selects 10 recommended models based on a theme. From these, the top 10 are determined based on the number of votes. The reader rankings are created by having webChronos readers choose their number one from the top 10 and vote for them.

　This time, the theme was "The Latest Diving Watch." We asked participants to choose their favorites from a wide range of current models, from full-scale divers that comply with ISO standards to models with a diver's watch feel known as land divers. Voting results were tallied between December 8th and December 12th, 2023. Compared to the judges' rankings, models that have risen in rank are marked with an up arrow, models that have fallen in rank are marked with a down arrow, and models with the same ranking are marked with a right arrow.

The brand, the history of the model, and the level of product perfection are all top-class, and it's also a versatile watch that's easy to use for daily use. If I could only own one watch, I think this would be a perfect model that would be my top choice.
・38mm is my favorite.
Other Fifty Fathoms, Submariners, and other brands that use corrosion-resistant materials are appealing. However, I can't help but admire the Bathyscaphe's elegant appearance, which is unusual for a diver's watch! I would like to get a complete calendar with the old bracelet someday.
- I like the classic design that is not found in other diver's watches.
- I like how the thin bezel and modern hands make it look natural in a business setting.
