"Celebrity Watch Hunting" focuses on the watches favored by celebrities from various genres. This time, we focus on the Cartier watch favored by IN (Ien), one of the active members of the globally active K-pop artist group Stray Kids, who is scheduled to appear on NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" in 2023.

IN (Ien) is the youngest member of Stray Kids and is loved by the other members.
Stray Kids is an eight-member South Korean boy band selected through the survival reality show "Stray Kids" which aired in 2017. Their affiliated company, JYP Entertainment, has produced such groups as "2PM" and "TWICE."
Stray Kids is not limited to the framework of an idol group; it is a group of artists who write, compose, and produce almost all of their own songs. Just a few years after their debut, they signed a partnership with the American record label Republic Records, debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, and made a spectacular entrance into the singles charts. They also appeared at music events held at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris and Central Park in New York, expanding their reach all over the world.
This year, 2023, the group will have their first TV show in Japan. They have also successfully completed a tour of Japan's four major domes, and are so popular that some of their performances are being live-streamed in movie theaters across the country. To cap off their tour, they are scheduled to appear on NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" for the first time.
The youngest member of Stray Kids is IN (I.N). He boasts excellent vocal ability and can expressively sing everything from sweet ballads to "trot," a type of Korean enka. He has a gentle demeanor and is loved by the other members as a younger brother, but is also teased at times. This behavior warms the hearts of fans all over the world. We are looking forward to seeing what kind of performance he will show us at Kohaku.
Aien's favorite watch is the Cartier Tank Must
Looking at Aien's wrist, photographed at Incheon International Airport on September 4, 2023, we can see a black rectangular watch with a simple face. This is thought to be a large model of the "Tank Mast." While stripped down to the bare minimum, its distinctive appearance makes it recognizable as a Tank even from a distance.
The black lacquer dial is a statement piece that adds elegance to both modern and casual styles. The model worn by Aien is a large model with a stainless steel case and a quartz movement. Rhodium-plated sword-shaped hands are placed on the jet-black dial, and it comes with a semi-matt black alligator strap.
The Tank first appeared in 1917. The first prototype was presented to U.S. Army officer John Pershing, and the Tank watch was released in 1919. Its simple, flat case exudes an elegant yet cool atmosphere, making it a timeless design that is loved by a wide range of people.

Aien also owns the "Tank Mast" with a vermeil case.
When Aien departed for Los Angeles on August 19, 2023, he was seen wearing a different classic Tank than the Tank Must with a black dial. This could be the Tank Must with a vermeil case.
There are many variations of the Tank Mast. Vermeil is a material made of silver with a gold coating. Discoloration over time is inevitable. However, as can be seen from Aien's videos and VLOGs, Aien, who is known for his pure personality, seems to have the heart to enjoy the change in color over time.
Although she is the youngest and most lovable character, in an interview she said she would like to try her hand at sexy music, so attention will likely continue to be focused on IEN's future.
