In 2024, Casio Computer will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its watch business. On February 15th of this year, the company caused a stir by reissuing its first wristwatch, the Casiotron. Leveraging its unique watchmaking expertise, honed over its 50-year history, Casio Computer has established genres such as G-SHOCK and OCEANUS. 2024 New Gravity Master "GR-B300"

　Casio G-SHOCK has released three new models of its Gravitymaster pilot watch. The three-layer dial creates a sense of depth and provides the high visibility essential for a pilot watch.

　The organic case design with its complex bezel shape was inspired by next-generation aircraft. The smooth lines that connect to the strap create a sense of unity. The case is made of carbon fiber reinforced resin, achieving both robustness and lightness.

　It has an intuitively readable dual time display at 6 o'clock, a mode selector and day of the week display at 12 o'clock, and a disc at 9 o'clock that displays the battery indicator, alarm on/off, and other information according to the mode.

　By connecting to a smartphone, flight logs can also be managed. This is a top-class pilot's watch that combines the toughness and advanced functionality characteristic of G-SHOCK.

New for 2024: "MRG-BF1000B-1AJR"

　A new model has been released for the G-SHOCK diver's watch, the MR-G Frogman. Each component of the case and bracelet is made of corrosion-resistant titanium. While the screw-back design ensures high water resistance, a sapphire crystal is press-fit into the center of the case back, improving reception sensitivity as a radio-controlled watch.

　To enhance its reliability as a diving tool, it has a clad guard structure that incorporates protective parts into the crown and buttons, and is equipped with a dive mode and a tide graph mode that display dive time and tidal information for the dive spot in analog format.

　It is equipped with a smartphone link function, and by connecting to a smartphone via a dedicated app, it is possible to manage various settings and diving logs.

New product in 2024 “GM-B2100AD-2AJF” / “GMW-B5000D-2JF”

　Two new full-metal G-SHOCK models have been announced. The combination of a vibrant blue dial and stainless steel exterior creates a cool impression. The GM-B2100AD-2AJF is a full-metal model based on the GA-2100 series, a digital-analog combination model characterized by its octagonal bezel, while the GMW-B5000D-2JF inherits the design of the original G-SHOCK, which was released in 1983.

　The blue dial has a metallic hue achieved through vapor deposition. The GM-B2100AD-2AJF has a two-piece dial, with the inset dial and LCD screen having different finishes.

　Despite its stainless steel exterior, the G-SHOCK's signature shock resistance remains intact. A fine resin buffer is placed between the bezel and case to absorb damage. The watch also features a screw-down back, ensuring water resistance.

　It is equipped with a wide range of functions, including smartphone link.

New for 2024: "OCW-S400"

　Casio has added a new model to its Oceanus Manta lineup: the OCW-S400. This is the first three-hand model of the Oceanus Manta. It features a titanium case polished by Zaratsu polishing and a sapphire crystal bezel.

　The dial, which has a date display at the 3 o'clock position, features a ripple pattern that expresses the worldview of Oceanus. The indexes are polished and coated with luminous paint to improve visibility in a variety of situations.

　The titanium bracelet is made up of arrow-shaped H links and center links with mirror-finish lines, enhancing the overall three-dimensional effect and sense of unity with the case. The buckle features a slide adjustment mechanism that allows for fine adjustment around the wrist with a single touch.

　In addition to 10-atmosphere water resistance, radio wave reception function, and solar power generation function, it also has smartphone linking.

　The lineup includes the black dial "OCW-S400-1AJF," the blue dial "OCW-S400-2AJF," and the green dial "OCW-S400-3AJF."

New for 2024: "GD-B500"

　Casio's G-SHOCK lineup includes the compact digital model GD-B500, available in black (GD-B500-1JF), white (GD-B500-7JF), and fluorescent green (GD-B500S-3JF) with clear parts.

　The case design is rectangular and vertically long, so it doesn't interfere with the back of the hand when worn. The three-row digital display successfully displays all the necessary information in a compact format. The watch features a new shock-resistant structure that combines the bezel, case, and band pieces, and the shape and color of each part are showcased in the design.

　Despite its compact size, the watch is packed with features, including 20-atmosphere water resistance, a smartphone link mechanism, and a step counting function that displays the number of steps measured by the accelerometer as a graph on a smartphone, making it useful for managing activity.

2024 new product “GMA-S120VA-7AJF” / “GMA-S140VA-7AJF”

　ITZY, a global Korean group and ambassador for G-SHOCK, has released new items perfect for the spring season.

　The newly announced "GMA-S120VA-7AJF" and "GMA-S140VA-7AJF" are digital-analog combination models with a beach resort theme. They feature a white case and band, and the dial is coated with silver vapor deposition. The main resin parts, such as the bezel and band, are made from environmentally friendly biomass plastic.

　Its 20-bar water resistance and shock resistance make it easy to use in outdoor activities such as sports. It's also packed with convenient functions for daily use, such as a timer, stopwatch, alarm, and world time. While it doesn't have radio wave reception, photovoltaic power generation, or smartphone linking, its low price makes it an attractive choice.
