Here's a roundup of the new NOMOS Glashütte models announced for 2024. At Watches & Wonders Geneva, they unveiled a limited edition collection of the Tangente 38 Date. What's surprising is the sheer variety of options. A total of 31 different color patterns are available, allowing customers to enjoy a different style each day for the entire month. Each color is limited to 175 pieces.

Tangente 38 Date

　As a new release for 2024, NOMOS Glashütte unveiled the Tangente 38 Date, available in a total of 31 limited edition colors. NOMOS Glashütte, based in Glashütte, the birthplace of German watchmaking, has produced numerous collections celebrating its 175th anniversary of watchmaking. This collection is one of them.

　For this new model, the brand has created 31 different color patterns that can be styled differently each day for a month. By coloring the main dial, small seconds, minute track, and date display of the iconic Tangente in different colors, 31 different personalities are created.

　This collection offers a new way to enjoy modern watches, with a wide variety of colors to choose from, instead of the usual monochrome colors. Each of the 31 Tangente 38 Date watches in the lineup has been given a special name, and each has a unique personality, created by combining two or three colors.

　The overall design, excluding the coloring, is the same as the previous Tangente 38 Date. With its slender typography, small seconds, and date at 6 o'clock, the face gives off an extremely sophisticated impression. The 37.5mm stainless steel case also has a flat and slim shape, and retains the distinctive angular lugs. This sophisticated design is essential as a foundation for the wide variety of colors available.

　The movement is also the same as the previous model, Cal. DUW4101. The calendar disc, which has a different color scheme for each model, is one of the essential elements of the color expression of this work. Meanwhile, as a special specification befitting a limited edition model, its precision has been re-adjusted in accordance with chronometer standards.

　This collection, which is being developed as part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of German watchmaking, will be limited to 175 pieces of each color, priced at 385,000 yen including tax.
