　The direct ancestor of the current Chronomat is the Frecce Tricolori, developed in 1983 as a collaboration model with the famous Italian aerobatic squadron, or the Chronomat that debuted the following year in 84 (in this article we will refer to this as the first generation). 　Given this background, the best way to gain a deeper understanding of the Chronomat B01 42 and its titanium case is to consider what makes it an all-purpose watch.

　It's obvious that this watch pairs well with casual styles, so I tried it out with a suit to confirm its all-purpose nature. With a case diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 15.1mm, I hesitate to describe this watch as compact, but it does have the compactness I believe is necessary to pair it with a suit.

　This is probably due to its understated simplicity and subdued color tones. If I were to pair it with a suit, I would like to pair it with a Rouleur bracelet or leather strap, which is known for its high-quality texture.

　For these reasons, this watch would be a good choice for those who alternate between casual and suit styles, or who prefer a jacket and pants style. It would also be a good choice for those involved in the aviation industry, those who love it, or engineers, to choose this watch as a piece to pair with a suit, reflecting their own unique style.

　The comfortable fit and chic impression made me want to wear it all the time during the impression period, and it would also be perfect for enjoying an elegant afternoon tea.

The use of titanium embodies the concept of an all-purpose watch

　Titanium is often used in sportier, more stoic tool watches because of its history of use in aviation and motorsports, and its light weight and comfortable feel make it ideal for sporty models.
