From Omega and Tudor to Jeweler, we introduce the representative new ladies' watches for 2024 from five companies!

We'll be taking a look at new and attractive ladies' watches released as of April 2024. Even when grouped together under the term "ladies' watches," the range is actually quite diverse, encompassing models focused on elegance and femininity, large-diameter models intended for men, models that share design codes with men's models, and sporty products aimed at active women. Looking at them from a bird's-eye view, we might be able to see the stance of each company.

Omega's new women's watch, the Mini Tresor Moonshine Gold, joins a diverse lineup

　Omega's noteworthy ladies' watch is the Mini Trésor Moonshine Gold, which uses Omega's proprietary gold material for the case. The Mini Trésor, which debuted in 2022, is a smaller 26mm model, compared to the 39mm or 36mm case diameters of the previous Trésor models, which were somewhat larger for ladies' watches.

　The 18K Moonshine Gold used for the new case is an original gold material released in 19, inspired by the light of the moon shining against the dark blue sky. It has a lighter tone than the conventional 18K Gold, and is characterized by its reduced change in color and shine over time. It has been used in models such as the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional, and its name and concept suggest that it is a material that reflects Omega's worldview.

　Four models were released this year: a moonshine gold dial with a black satin strap; a Grand Feu enamel dial with black Roman numerals and a brown Novonappa leather strap or a matching double-wrap strap; and a model with red Roman numerals and a red alligator double-wrap strap.

New Tudor Claire de Rose watches in Tudor Blue

　Tudor has added a new model to its classic line, "Clair de Rose," featuring a new Tudor blue dial. Tudor offers a wide range of sizes, and is characterized by its large-diameter models aimed at men, as well as many smaller-diameter models that share the same design. On the other hand, the brand tends to have fewer lineups aimed at women.

　The model announced at Watches & Wonders in April has a simple, dressy round case and is available in diameters of 34mm, 30mm, and 26mm, which can be said to be an expansion of the ladies' model range.

　The new Tudor Blue colour does not refer to a specific shade, but is a general term for the blue models added to the iconic collection.

　This is because Tudor first introduced the distinctive blue dial to the Tudor Submariner in 1969, and has since combined it with a variety of models.

　Six new models have been added, with cases of 34mm, 30mm, and 26mm available, each with a Roman index dial and a dial with diamond indexes.

20 new models added at once! Hublot Classic Fusion Original 29mm models

　This year's Hublot lineup is not to be missed in terms of expanding its ladies' models. A 29mm case diameter model has been added to the Classic Fusion Original, inspired by the Classic model created by Hublot in 1980. The lineup now includes a whopping 20 models.

　The highlight of this collection is the black lacquer dial model without indices. The case comes in two materials: 18K yellow gold and titanium. The dial without indices and the plain black rubber strap are based on the original Classic model, and the structure that allows for the use of a variety of materials for the case and the lineup that reflects this strongly reflect the world view of Hublot.

　The other models feature a sunray dial with edgy indexes and are available in four colors: black, gray, blue, and green, with case materials of 18K King Gold and titanium.

　There will also be a lineup with diamonds set on the bezel or on the entire case and bezel. The strap is a rubber strap with a vertical texture in a color that matches the dial. The strap, with the same details and texture as the dial, gives this model a more modern look than the previous two models.

Chopard's new Happy Sport watch for active women

　Chopard has a wide variety of iconic ladies' models. Every year, they release high jewelry watches that fully utilize the technical expertise of Chopard as a high jeweler, while also actively adding models suitable for daily use for active women.

　One of the iconic models is the Happy Sport. This year, a black dial model has been added. The Happy Sport is characterized by a structure in which moving diamonds move freely on the dial. The 36mm case is made of Lucent Steel, and the crown and cabochon are adorned with 18K rose gold.

　The design code for the collection has traditionally been to set the crown with a sapphire, but this model uses onyx to match the dial color. The glossy black calfskin strap also enhances the sporty look of the woman wearing this watch. In addition to the 36mm model introduced here, a 30mm model has also been added.

Piaget Polo Date 36mm model commemorating the 150th anniversary of Piaget

　This year marks the 150th anniversary of Piaget's founding, and to commemorate this, two limited edition models of the Piaget Polo Date have been announced. One of these is a women's model with a 36mm case diameter. The design codes of the Piaget Polo are incorporated into the 36mm case, and the distinctive flat bezel is set with diamonds.

　The dial, which has soft colors reminiscent of gold and beige, is adorned with the horizontal lines that are symbolic of the collection, and the counterweight of the second hand features a design that represents the 150th anniversary.

　The movement is the Cal. 500P1, and in keeping with Piaget's reputation for thin watches, the case is only 8.8mm thick. The strap is a beige rubber strap with a waterline that matches the dial. This model is limited to 300 pieces worldwide.
