Here's a look at all the new Montblanc watches released in 2024. This year's lineup includes a wide range of noteworthy models, including the Montblanc Ice-Sea Zero Oxygen Deep 4810, which boasts a high water resistance of 4810m, and the new Montblanc 1858 Unveiled Minerva Chronograph, a monopusher chronograph.
Montblanc Ice Sea Zero Oxygen Deep 4810

The Montblanc Ice Sea Collection, released in 2022, includes the Montblanc Ice Sea Zero Oxygen Deep 4810, which challenges a new level of depth: 4810 meters below sea level.
With the debut of the Montblanc Ice-Sea collection, Montblanc is expanding its diving watch lineup with the introduction of the Montblanc Ice-Sea Zero Oxygen Deep 4810, which is water resistant to 4810 m (15,000 ft), the same height as Mont Blanc itself.

The highly water-resistant case is large, measuring 43mm in diameter and 19.4mm thick, but is made of titanium and paired with a rubber strap, making it lightweight. Furthermore, it incorporates Montblanc's signature "Zero Oxygen" technology. This technology eliminates oxygen inside the case, eliminating fogging caused by sudden temperature changes, as well as preventing oxidation of parts and lubricants, improving reliability.
A common feature of the collection is the presence of a mesh-like crystal on the dial. This crystal is inspired by the glacial lake "Mer de Glace" and is applied using the traditional "gratte boisée" technique. This model uses a deep blue color, which represents the color of ice seen in the deep sea, and is finished to evoke the image of the watch's water resistance of 4810 meters.
Montblanc Ice Sea Automatic Date

Two new models have been announced for the Montblanc Ice Sea Collection, featuring designs inspired by the warm colors of a sunset over a glacial landscape.
The first new model combines a black glacier-patterned dial with a warm bronze-tone case reminiscent of twilight. The case is made of copper-aluminum, an alloy of copper and tin that is approximately 1.5 times more durable than bronze and highly resistant to corrosion and rust. The use of copper-aluminum also allows the watch to develop a patina over time. The bezel is a two-tone brown and black color that matches the color of the case.

The other new model is a burgundy dial model inspired by the deep crimson of a sunset hitting a glacier. The unidirectional rotating bezel of this model is combined with a black ceramic bezel insert. Combined with a stainless steel bracelet, it has a more modern finish than the copper-aluminum model.
The glacier-patterned dial common to the collection is a traditional "gratte boise" dial, a unique design that evokes the mesh-like crystals found in glaciers.

Montblanc 1858 Unveiled Minerva Chronograph

Montblanc has announced the Montblanc 1858 Unveiled Minerva Chronograph Limited Edition, a new addition to its specialty chronograph model. It will be limited to 100 pieces. Featuring a sapphire crystal dial, this model is equipped with a new movement, the Caliber MB M17.26. Like the Caliber M16.26 used in previous models, this movement has the gear train positioned on the dial side, allowing the monopusher movement mechanism to be viewed.

The Cal.MB M17.26 has a structure in which the mechanism is mounted on a pillar. This structure allows light shining in from the dial side to reach the depths of the movement, creating a three-dimensional effect. Furthermore, to highlight the chronograph mechanism, the chronograph bridge, patented in 1912, is placed on top of the movement. In this model, to highlight this structure and add a modern touch, the German silver plate and bridge are colored blue, creating a contrast with the other parts and coordinating with the accompanying Blue Fumato calf leather strap.
This model, which is equipped with such a distinctive movement, has a dial made of sapphire crystal and five windows on the side and lug joints of the case, which allow light to stream in and allow the side of the movement, which is normally invisible, to be viewed.
Montblanc 1858 Geosphere CARBO2 Zero Oxygen LE 1969

Montblanc has announced the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere CARBO2 Zero Oxygen, featuring a caseband made of CARBO2, a material that traps carbon dioxide (CO2). This model will be limited to 1969 pieces worldwide. CARBO2 is a unique material made by mixing calcium carbonate (CaCO3), a powder containing carbon dioxide, with carbon fiber. The CARBO2 used in this model is notable for its manufacturing process, which uses calcium carbonate produced from mineral waste generated at recycling plants and carbon dioxide produced from biogas production.

The CARBO2's exterior is characterized by the graphic patterning that comes from the carbon fiber. The dark black and gray tones define the character of this watch, and it is paired with a black sfumato dial that echoes this. The side of the case is engraved with the outline of Mont Blanc, coated with luminous paint, so that in the dark, the mountain shines in the sunlight.

This model utilizes "Zero Oxygen" technology, which prevents fogging caused by sudden temperature changes and suppresses oxidation of the movement's lubricants and components by eliminating oxygen inside the case. This technology protects the movement, Cal. MB 29.25, which features a rotating disc for the northern and southern hemispheres, allowing you to check multiple time zones, as well as a day/night indicator, 24-hour display, dual time, and date display.
Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Meisterstück 100th Anniversary

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the classic writing instrument, the Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Meisterstück 100th Anniversary has been announced. This model will be limited to 500 pieces worldwide. The Meisterstück, synonymous with Montblanc and fountain pens, features a black cigar-shaped design with three gold rings and a gold nib.
The collection's namesake, Nicolas Rieussec, is the man who invented the mechanism for recording elapsed time using ink and created the prototype of the chronograph. Montblanc was inspired by this achievement and the similarities between this and his specialty, the ink-based fountain pen, to create the concept for the collection. Against this background, this work incorporates the design codes of the Mysterstück, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

The dial features a blueprint of a 1920 writing instrument, and the off-center hour and minute dial features a measurement chart of the Montblanc emblem. Additionally, the watch features accents reminiscent of the Meisterstück, such as a gold-colored bridge, rose gold-plated dauphine-style hour and minute hands, and Arabic numerals between the two rotating domed discs. Combined with a stainless steel case, this design also evokes the two-tone design of the fountain pen's nib.
The Cal. MB R200 movement is a tribute to Nicolas Rieussec. Two rotating discs, following in the footsteps of Nicolas Rieussec, count 60-second elapsed time (at 8 o'clock) and 30-minute accumulated time (at 4 o'clock). When the chronograph is activated, the two discs rotate in sync to measure elapsed time.
