　The Mille Miglia, known as "the most beautiful race in the world," dates back to 1927. This legendary Italian road race was once discontinued due to a tragic accident, but was revived in 1977. Since then, eligibility has been limited to vehicles that competed in the 1957 race and their equivalents, and it has become a beloved classic car race that runs through the streets of Italy.

　The Mille Miglia is known for the participation of many famous drivers, including Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, co-president of Chopard. The company has been the sponsor and official timekeeper of the Mille Miglia for 37 consecutive years, likely due to Chopard's love of classic cars and his respect for motorsports. The Mille Miglia collection is the expression of the company's devotion to the Mille Miglia. Here we introduce two new models from the 2024 collection.

The Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph is a chronograph watch with a 40.5mm round case. It features a silver dial with a black subdial and tachymeter scale. This coloring is inspired by the checkered flag that signals the end of a motor race, and is a symbol of victory for the first-place car. The dial of this watch is named "La Gala," which means competition or race in Italian.

　The case is made of LucentSteel™, a proprietary steel alloy that not only boasts a recycling rate of over 80%, but also combines high levels of anti-allergenicity, wear resistance, and aesthetic appeal.

　The overall design is classical, with pump-shaped pushers and a slim bezel creating an elegant impression. This effect is maximized by the "glass box" sapphire crystal crystal, which provides a unified look while ensuring excellent legibility. The watch is also equipped with a highly accurate movement that has been certified as a chronometer by COSC. It also comes with a miniature of the helmet, and the transparent protective case is signed by Jacky Ickx, making it a must-have for fans.
