Geneva Watch Days was held in Geneva, Switzerland from August 29th to September 2nd, 2024. Chieko Tsuruoka, editor of Chronos Japan, gave a live commentary on the event from the event site. We have posted an archive of the broadcast, and as usual (sorry), we have included a follow-up to the broadcast in this article, as it ended up being a bit of a mess.

Live Streaming from Geneva! What is Geneva Watch Days?
Geneva Watch Days took place from August 29th to September 2nd, 2024. Now in its fifth year, the event was launched in 2020 by six brands: Breitling, Bvlgari, De Bethune, Girard-Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie., and MB&F. While some brands release new models to coincide with Geneva Watch Days, the event is not solely a trade fair for new watches. Various events are held, including discussions on the latest trends in the watch industry and tours are available.
Another notable feature of this year's event is that a total of 52 brands are participating, all of which are based in boutiques and hotels.
As the event is sponsored by the city of Geneva and FHH, banners for Geneva Watch Days were prominently displayed throughout the city, and although each venue was not as large as Watches & Wonders Geneva (I have never been there, so I heard about it from the deputy editor-in-chief who covered the event with me), it was bustling with visitors.

-Will you visit the Glashütte Original exhibition hall?
→Although it wasn't released to coincide with Geneva Watch Days, Glashütte Original also held a preview of their new models at their boutique in the old town, so I went! I'll be introducing them on webChronos after the launch!
I apologize for confusing Glashütte Original with Girard-Perregaux ladies' watches during the broadcast. I didn't get to hold the actual Glashütte Original ladies' watch this time, but the Serenade Luna, which was released this year, is one of my favorite models.
Also, when it comes to Girard-Perregaux ladies' watches, I'd like to get the Cat's Eye Blossom (but I don't have the money).
-Are you planning to check out watch brands other than those at that event (Geneva Watch Days)?
→ I've seen it! I want to let everyone know about it as soon as possible, so I'll do my best to write a manuscript!
-Girard-Perregaux information please.
→It has already been published in the latest news, but from next week onwards, I would like to write an in-depth article! It was really good. Especially "Esmeralda".

→ I stopped by on the last day, but it was late and the place had already been packed away... sorry about that. But DOXA is great, isn't it? I'll keep an eye on it!
・Come and see the flexi-con container.
→ I also went to Frederique Constant! I will post an article about it on webChronos later (I need to write the manuscript quickly).
・I would like you to interview Angelus as well.
→ The Angelus was really good...! In my poor English, with the help of my interpreter, Mr. Sakata, I did my best to convey that "Japanese watch enthusiasts will love this...!" I will also write an article about it!
・Is MING also in it?
→It was out! It was late on the last day and we were just about to leave, but they kindly showed us the new model. I'll talk about it later in this article!
・L'EPEE too!
→ Sorry, I wasn't able to cover L'EPEE... It's an interesting brand. I also went to cover the Singapore Watch Fair last year, and they were exhibiting there.
