Practical functionality is what makes us beautiful!
Among watch enthusiasts, the more aesthetically pleasing mechanical watches are, the more they say that a watch doesn't need a calendar display.
I want to eliminate as many unnecessary elements as possible from the dial, and I don't want to add unsophisticated display windows to this beautiful "canvas." Is this feeling getting stronger?
Certainly, the more elements a watch has beyond just displaying the time, the more practical its role as a tool will become.
But perhaps that's why we want to make the calendar display, which is such a practical function, more aesthetically pleasing.
Yes, we want practical functionality to be beautiful as well. This desire was embodied in our pursuit of a calendar display.
