"Tag Heuer Monaco Split Seconds"
This is the brand's first mechanical wristwatch equipped with a split-seconds function. The movement, with its baseplate and bridges made entirely of titanium, weighs approximately 30g, and the entire watch weighs an ultra-lightweight 85g, making it perfect for those who want to wear a complication watch on a daily basis. The split-seconds pusher, located at the 9 o'clock position, is designed for easy operation even when wearing gloves. The hands are also made of titanium. Automatic winding (Cal. A split-seconds mechanism, known as rattrapante in French, is a mechanism that allows two chronograph seconds hands to measure two times simultaneously. While it requires far more advanced technology than a regular chronograph, TAG Heuer has been working on this complicated mechanism for over a century, and the stopwatches it incorporates have been highly valued for measuring lap times in races. Surprisingly, however, this mechanism has never been incorporated into a mechanical wristwatch, and its introduction has long been eagerly anticipated by fans.
This year marks the 55th anniversary of the Monaco, and the development was led by Carole Cazapi, known as the "Queen of Tourbillons."
She says of the Tag Heuer Monaco Split Seconds Chronograph, "I aimed to create a luxury watch that can be worn in sports situations."
Born in France in 1969, he graduated from the La Chaux-de-Fonds Watchmaking School and joined Conseilray in 90. He then joined Renaud & Papy in 92. He then became head of design for the Richemont Group, which includes Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. In 2020, he moved to TAG Heuer, where he improved the quality of its products, including upgrading the Caliber Heuer 02 to the Caliber TH20-00. In 21, he received the Gaia Prize, known as the Nobel Prize of watches.
"The movement is a high-frequency machine with a vibration rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour and a free-sprung balance without a regulator. This makes it resistant to shocks and provides excellent isochronism. The automatic winding rotor also uses a full ball-bearing system made of ceramic, which improves shock resistance and abrasion resistance. Of course, another major point is that the base plate and bridges are all made of lightweight titanium. Titanium is extremely difficult to process due to its hardness, but since the focus is on sports, this was an area we could not compromise on."
The edgy, newly designed case is ergonomically designed to withstand sports wear. The dial and case back are entirely made of sapphire crystal, ensuring water resistance and high shock resistance. This marks the birth of a special Monaco, the pinnacle of TAG Heuer's high-end watchmaking.

The TAG Heuer Carrera, which established the brand as a prestigious racing watch brand, is a timeless masterpiece series that continues to reign supreme in this field, while still refining its timeless design.

Heuer, which had distinguished itself early on in the field of measuring instruments, perfecting the chronograph in 1887, continued to produce a succession of masterpieces in the 20th century, deepening its ties with the world of motor racing. However, it was the Heuer Carrera, released in 1963, that solidified the company's reputation in this field. Named after the legendary "Carrera Panamericana Mexico" car race, this chronograph was created under the direction of fourth-generation owner Jack Heuer. In addition to its high accuracy, its easy-to-read dial and modern, sophisticated case design made it a favorite of top racers of the time. Its popularity has led to the creation of numerous derivative models.
This series, which has been highly praised since its introduction in 2016, has been remade with a bolder case structure and openwork. Even after the company changed its name to TAG Heuer, there was still a strong demand for this legendary chronograph, and finally, in 96, the new TAG Heuer Carrera, a reproduction of the original, was released. Since then, it has continued to evolve and become a flagship model, and in the 21st century, the range has expanded to include models with in-house movements and complications.
In 2023, the 60th anniversary of the birth of the Carrera, a new style will be introduced that is a modern interpretation of the "glass box" design that was common in Carreras in the 1970s. This year, a new version of the "Tag Heuer Carrera Extreme Sport" will also be released, which will more boldly appeal to its connection to motor racing. The race of this masterpiece racing watch that will go down in watchmaking history is still on.

The TAG Heuer Monaco was loved by famous actors who were hailed as the "King of Cool" for its revolutionary mechanics and design. This symbol of the brand's avant-garde spirit continues to evolve today.
The matte black case is made of lightweight, shock-resistant titanium. It features a dark blue openwork dial, showcasing the movement's mechanical form in a cool design. The TAG Heuer Monaco is a masterpiece of the brand alongside the TAG Heuer Carrera. Its illustrious history began when Heuer, together with Breitling, Büren, and Dubois-Dépraz, developed an automatic chronograph movement, one of the greatest challenges in the watch industry of the 20th century.
To highlight the innovativeness of the Caliber 11, which was released in April 1969, the company's management chose to use an avant-garde square case. This case was one of the earliest to guarantee water resistance through its square shape, and its striking blue color made it a huge hit as a cutting-edge model at the time. Its popularity was further boosted when the King of Cool, actor Steve McQueen, wore it in the 1971 film Le Mans.
While retaining the original Monaco's distinctive features, such as the left-hand crown, two-eye layout, and old logo, the new watch features a refreshing silver dial with a green subdial. This timepiece, a masterpiece of watchmaking history, is given a fresh new look. It uses a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module. Automatic winding (Cal. 11). 28,800 vph. Although it disappeared in the aftermath of the quartz revolution, it was revived as the TAG Heuer Monaco in 98, following the new Carrera. Since then, it has continued to reign as a symbol of the brand's passion for motorsports and avant-garde watchmaking.
Both of the two watches introduced here are new. One features a dark blue open dial, while the other is a left-hand crown model that stays true to the original, with a green inset dial. Such bold arrangements blend seamlessly, as befits the original avant-garde watch. The Monaco will continue to capture the hearts of fashionable individuals with extraordinary taste.

The Aquaracer is known as a diver's watch with full-scale diving capabilities. The first model in the series, which originated from the Ref. 844 released in 1978, was born in 2004. Since then, up to the current fifth generation, it has continued to evolve as the brand's signature collection.
One of the most popular mechanical models is the Aquaracer Professional 300. This model embodies the reliability of its COSC-certified in-house caliber, as well as its excellent wearability and durability. This year's latest version features an updated minute scale and a shield-shaped hour hand, further improving time reading. The case size has also been revised from 43mm to 42mm, with a slimmer case thickness of 12mm, achieving optimal wearability and balance.
