We introduce five models from Omega's new releases for 2024. From variations added to the classic Speedmaster and Seamaster collections to models commemorating the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, there are many attractive new releases announced this year.

Omega's new releases that will make waves in the watch world in 2024
Omega was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848. Known as a major luxury watch brand in Japan, the company released the waterproof Seamaster watch in 1948. In 1957, it developed the Seamaster 300, a full-fledged diving watch, the Speedmaster, a racing chronograph watch, and the Railmaster, a highly antimagnetic watch, making their watches known to the world for their robustness and excellent functionality that can withstand harsh environments.
In 1999, they succeeded in mass-producing the coaxial escapement, and today many of their models are equipped with the coaxial escapement, which allows for longer maintenance cycles.
With such history and technology, the company has once again announced a number of fascinating new products this year. Of particular note are the expansions to existing collections. Omega's iconic Speedmaster manual-winding model now includes a white dial as a regular model, and the long-awaited return of the second-generation reissue, the "Speedmaster First Omega in Space." The Seamaster, the sports watch that rivals the Speedmaster, also boasts a rich lineup. And we mustn't forget the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, for which Omega served as the official timekeeper. The models commemorating this event also created a buzz in the watch world.
"Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional" Ref. 310.30.42.50.04.001
This is a regular model Moonwatch with a white lacquer dial. It features applied indices, giving it a slightly more glamorous look than the black dial model. It's hand-wound (Cal. 3861). 26 jewels. 21,600 vph. Approximately 50-hour power reserve. Stainless steel case (42mm diameter, 13.2mm thick). Water resistant to 50m. Price: 1,254,000 yen (tax included).
Omega's Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional now comes in a white dial model. Many fans were surprised to find out that this was a regular model, not a limited edition. The dial features a lustrous lacquer finish and applied indexes, giving it a slightly different look from the black dial.
One notable feature of the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional is that it is available in both a solid back model with Hesalite crystal and a see-through back model with sapphire crystal, but the white dial is only available in the latter version.
The transparent case back reveals the Master Chronometer-certified manual-winding chronograph movement, Cal. 3861. You can enjoy watching the cams and horizontal clutch move and transmit power to the chronograph gear train.
There are three strap variations available: stainless steel bracelet, leather strap, and rubber strap.
"Speedmaster First Omega in Space" Ref. 310.30.40.50.06.001
The Speedmaster First Omega in Space, which was reissued in 2012, is back with a Master Chronometer-certified movement. The exterior has also undergone significant evolution. Manual winding (Cal. 3861). 26 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 39.7mm, thickness 13.4mm). Water resistant to 50m. Price: 1,210,000 yen (tax included).
The second-generation Speedmaster Ref. CK2998 was carried as the personal watch of NASA astronaut Walter "Wally" Schirra on the Sigma 7 mission of Project Mercury, which began on October 3, 1962. This was the first Omega wristwatch to travel into space. The Speedmaster First Omega in Space is a reproduction of the CK2998 model, paying tribute to this achievement.
The dial color is blue-gray, based on the original. The indexes and hour and minute hands are coated with orange Super-LumiNova, reminiscent of discoloration that occurs over time, giving the watch a vintage look.
The fourth-generation and later Speedmaster models are characterized by twisted lugs and an asymmetrical case design that serves as a crown guard, but this model reproduces the clean case lines with straight lugs that are faithful to the original.
The case back features a Seahorse in the center, with the words "THE FIRST OMEGA IN SPACE" and the start date of the Sigma 7 mission engraved around it. The movement is the manual-winding chronograph Cal. 3861.
Seamaster Planet Ocean, Ref. 215.32.44.21.06.001
This new Seamaster Planet Ocean features a distinctive green color scheme. The stainless steel dial with its striking vertical hairlines creates a solid impression. Automatic (Cal. 8900). 39 jewels. 25,200 vph. Power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 43.5mm, thickness 16.2mm). Water resistant to 600m. Price: 1,089,000 yen (tax included).
The new Seamaster Planet Ocean model is water resistant to 600m and features a helium escape valve suitable for saturation diving. While professional diver's watches tend to evoke a rugged, tool-like appearance, this model features a fashionable color scheme that's perfect for everyday use.
The dial is made of rare stainless steel, with vertical hairlines giving it a solid impression. The ceramic bezel insert with a liquid metal scale is a subdued shade of green. The Arabic numeral indexes, the "Seamaster" logo on the dial, and the rubber strap all use green, further enhancing the sense of unity.
While achieving high water resistance, it also features a see-through case back. A metallic seahorse is placed in the center of the sapphire crystal, revealing the Master Chronometer-certified automatic movement, Cal. 8900.
Seamaster Regatta, Ref. 216.92.46.79.10.001
This analog-digital combination model commemorates the 37th America's Cup. The quartz movement features a temperature-compensating integrated circuit, ensuring accurate timekeeping even in harsh environments with extreme temperature fluctuations. Quartz (Cal. 5701). Titanium case (46.75mm diameter, 15.6mm thick). Water resistant to 50m. Price: 1,144,000 yen (tax included).
Omega is the official timekeeper for the 37th America's Cup yacht race. The Seamaster Regatta is a new model commemorating the event. It features a quartz movement with a combination of analog and digital functions.
The dial features a central digital display with a full range of essential yacht racing functions, including moon phase, chronograph, sailing logbook, thermometer, accelerometer, three alarms, and regatta race functions. The backlight makes it easy to read even in the dark.
The 46.75mm case is crafted from lightweight, corrosion-resistant grade 5 titanium, ensuring its robustness and durability, even in the harsh conditions of the ocean. The blue and red coloring is a common feature of previous America's Cup models.
The case back is decorated with the logo of the 37th America's Cup, adding to the special feel. The watch comes with a special edition box in the same color as the watch itself.
"Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition" Ref. 522.92.39.21.99.001
This special edition model symbolizes the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The classic design is inspired by a small-seconds Omega watch manufactured in 1939. Manual-winding (Cal. 8926). 29 jewels. 25,200 vph. Power reserve: approximately 72 hours. Bronze-gold case (diameter 39mm, thickness 11.7mm). Water resistant to 3 bar. Price: 1,848,000 yen (tax included).
One of the biggest events of the year was the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, held this summer. Omega, the official timekeeper of the Games, has released several models to commemorate the event. The "Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition" is one of them.
The dial features a classic design with a Clous de Paris pattern and is made of silver. The case is made of the company's proprietary bronze gold alloy, and the slender hour and minute hands are made of 18K Sedna™ gold with bronze gold PVD. The use of gold, silver, and copper in the materials makes this a watch that truly symbolizes the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The frosted case back is adorned with the tournament emblem. Inside is the Caliber 8926, a manual-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and Master Chronometer certification for its high accuracy and magnetic resistance.
The title comes in a special white box featuring the tournament emblem and OMEGA logo.
