We have a wide selection of highly functional GMT watches for everything from business to overseas travel!
A clock is a tool for telling time. In this case, the time generally refers to the time in the current location. However, with the recent trend of globalization, there is an increasing need to know the time in different time zones. The development of communication technology and aircraft that connect the world in a short time has made time differences more familiar, whether it's for communicating with overseas business bases or clients, or contacting Japan while traveling abroad.
In such cases, a GMT watch, which can display the time in more than one time zone at once, is useful. There are several ways to display this, but the most common is a combination of a GMT hand that rotates around the dial once every 24 hours and a 24-hour display on the bezel or flange.
When traveling abroad, the regular hour hand is adjusted to show the local time, and the GMT hand is used to show the time back home. There are also models that allow you to set a third time zone by rotating the bezel.
This time, we'll be introducing five models from this range of GMT watches. The only constraint in our selection was that they all had to be available for purchase in the 500,000 yen range. We've selected masterpieces that showcase each company's technological prowess while remaining within an affordable price range. All of them are highly durable and recommended for those new to luxury watches.
Sinn "Instrument Watch 105" Ref.105.ST.SA.UTC

The orange arrow-shaped hands and bidirectional rotating bezel allow the time in up to three time zones to be displayed. The bezel is coated with a black hard coating, a combination of Sinn's Tegiment technology and PVD coating, providing high scratch resistance and preventing the PVD from peeling off. The bezel is attached to the case with screws from the side, preventing it from coming off even when subjected to impacts.
The movement is Sellita's Cal. SW330-1, which can be viewed through the see-through back.

Among the many Grand Seiko watches, the "Sports Collection" features sporty designs. This model features silver hands and indexes and a black dial. Of the five watches introduced here, this is the only one equipped with a quartz movement.
