The RM 67-01 bezel is cut from a single piece of wood. As shown in the photo, two bezels are separated, one on top and one on bottom. After cutting off the excess material and sanding the top surface with a 280-grit file, the corners are hand-finished to a mirror finish, and then the piece is complete.

As a result, the processing precision of the cases has been greatly improved for all new models.
This is also true for Richard Mille, but the standards required are fundamentally different.
