2025.04.06

Here we introduce the new watches that Orient and Orient Star have announced for 2025. In recent years, Orient Star has been attracting a lot of attention with the launch of its "M Collections," but Orient, which celebrated its 75th anniversary this year, has also released a number of noteworthy new models.

Orient Star "M34 Avant-garde F8 Skeleton" Ref.RK-BZ0004B

Orient Star 2025 New Product ① "M34 Avant-garde F8 Skeleton"

Orient Star "M34 Avant-garde F8 Skeleton" Ref.RK-BZ0005G

One limited edition and one regular model have been added to the "M34 Avant-Garde F8 Skeleton," a masterpiece of the "M34" series, which is based on a star cluster in the constellation Perseus. The M34 Avant-Garde F8 Skeleton is popular for its openwork dial, which allows visitors to see the mechanism of its automatic movement, Cal. F8F64. Cal. F8F64 uses a silicon escape wheel, a technology developed by Orient, and being able to see its operation is one of the charms of this watch.

Among the new releases from the M34 Avant-Garde F8 Skeleton, this limited edition model, limited to 300 pieces worldwide (200 in Japan), is based on the theme of "Desert Luxury," evoking the image of affluent urban life surrounded by golden sand. The openwork dial, hexagonal screws on the bezel, case, and crown are all gold-colored. The warm coloring creates a different atmosphere from previous models, making this a unique and appealing piece.

The new addition to the regular lineup is a coordinated model that emphasizes the solid texture of the watch by using a unified black color scheme. Previous models featured a black-plated case, but this model features a bracelet with a similar finish. The contrast with the silver color of the indexes, hands, Orient Star logo, and movement is effective, bringing out the mechanical appeal of the mechanical watch.

The Contemporary Collection Layered Skeleton, which features a unique dial made up of two layers, has been released in two versions: one limited edition model of 400 pieces and one model from the regular lineup.

The Layered Skeleton is a lineup born in 2021, inspired by suit styles, and features a layered look, with the small seconds and power reserve indicators lowered from 6 to 10 o'clock, reminiscent of layered clothing. The balance wheel is skeletonized at 9 o'clock on the dial, allowing viewers to see its operation, adding to its appeal.

Both of the two newly announced models feature a color scheme inspired by seaside resorts, with the limited edition model featuring a mint green dial, reminiscent of a refreshing breeze blowing across the blue ocean. The watch also comes with a metal bracelet perfect for everyday use and a chic calfskin leather band, allowing you to coordinate it to suit any occasion. The other new addition to the regular lineup features a champagne gold dial, reminiscent of the sunshine shining down on a resort, and a subdued gray calfskin leather band.

The Orient Bambino 38 is a popular collection known for its traditional design and compact size. The retro feel that characterizes this model comes from the classical design, including Roman numerals, the bombe-shaped dial, the box crystal, and the round case with slender lugs.

The newly announced new model retains the image of the previous mechanical model, but is equipped with a light-powered quartz movement that can run for approximately six months on a full charge. The regular model is available with three dial colors: ivory, black, and pale green. The strap is made from plant-based apple synthetic leather, which is made from recycled apple cores and pomace that would otherwise be discarded, making it a more environmentally friendly material than animal-derived leather.

In addition to these, a limited edition model of 300 pieces will be available in Japan to commemorate Orient's 75th anniversary. It features the old Orient logo in cursive script used in the 1950s and a dial with blue hands, and comes with a beige nubuck leather strap and a brown curved band, further enhancing the retro feel. Furthermore, the case back is inscribed with "Orient Since 1950 75th Anniversary" in cursive script and a serial number, adding a unique design unique to this commemorative model.

Orient 2025 New Product ② "PEANUTS" Collaboration

Orient and the Peanuts series, famous for Snoopy, are celebrating their 75th anniversaries with the release of four commemorative models. Orient began operations in 1950 and has gained popularity through its in-house production of mechanical watches and sales in over 70 countries. Peanuts, which also began serialization in newspapers in the United States in 1950, has been loved by many people around the world.
