Audemars Piguet will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2025. A variety of new models have been announced, including anniversary models to celebrate this milestone. This article will introduce the brand's new models.

Audemars Piguet 2025 New Release ① "Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar"
Audemars Piguet has been known for its perpetual calendars, and two new models equipped with the latest movements have been announced. One is a model with a stainless steel case and a blue PVD-coated dial, and the other is a model with an 18K sand gold case and a dial of the same color. The case, with its distinctive sharp edges characteristic of the Royal Oak, is just 9.5mm thin, despite being equipped with a complication movement.

Automatic movement (Cal. 7138). 41 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 55 hours. Stainless steel case (41mm diameter, 9.5mm thick). Water resistant to 50m. Price upon request.

Automatic movement (Cal. 7138). 41 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 55 hours. 18K sand gold case (41mm diameter, 9.5mm thick). Water resistant to 50m. Price upon request.
The Cal. 7138 movement featured in this watch is not only thin, but also features an innovative structure. Its three-position pull-out crown handles all operations. Perpetual calendar movements typically have several correctors in addition to the crown, which are pushed to adjust the calendar. However, with the Cal. 7138, the first position winds the mainspring, the second position adjusts the date and month, and the third position adjusts the hour, minute, and 24-hour hands. Pushing the crown down one position from the third position to the second position allows adjustment of the day of the week and the moon phase.

To prevent accidental operation, the date can only be set by rotating the crown 2.5 to 3 times. It's also worth noting that the calendar cannot be adjusted between 9 PM and 3 AM. The 24-hour display at 9 o'clock is highlighted in red during this time period.

Audemars Piguet 2025 New Release ② "Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked '150th Anniversary'"
With the introduction of the new perpetual calendar movement, Cal. 7138, it was decided to discontinue production of the Cal. 5134 series movement. This model commemorates the company's 150th anniversary and is also the last model to feature the Cal. 5134 series.

Automatic movement (Cal. 5135). 38 jewels. 19,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 40 hours. Titanium and bulk metallic glass case (41mm diameter, 9.9mm thick). Water resistant to 2 bar. Limited to 150 pieces worldwide. Price upon request.
The watch features a skeleton dial revealing the interior, a titanium case and bracelet, and a bulk metallic glass bezel. Developed through trial and error, palladium-based bulk metallic glass is an amorphous metal with no crystalline structure, offering excellent durability and aesthetic appeal. This rare model is limited to only 150 pieces worldwide, and the case back is engraved with the 150th anniversary logo and a limited edition lettering.
The design of this piece is based on the Ref. 25729 perpetual calendar pocket watch manufactured in 1992. It faithfully reproduces the distinctive appearance and functions of the watch, including the octagonal case design, skeleton dial, and blue-rimmed sub-dials.
