Although not a specialized watch manufacturer, Cartier has a mature manufacturing system. In particular, the exteriors, which are produced in-house, boast an exceptional level of perfection. Cartier has announced a wealth of new watches in 2025. What are the masterpieces that demonstrate Cartier's excellent watchmaking, including the new Tank à Guichet from Cartier Privé?
Cartier 2025 New Release① "Tank à Guichet"

The 2025 Cartier Privé model is the Tank à Guiché, a watch with a unique design featuring a jumping hour mechanism. "Guiché" means small window. With most of the dial covered by the case, it has a so-called "iron mask" design, with the hours displayed in a small window at 12 o'clock and the minutes displayed in an arc-shaped opening. The original was created in 1928, anticipating the arrival of an era in which the spread of trains and automobiles meant that quick checking of the time would be necessary. It can be said that this model embodied Cartier's innovative spirit.
There are four variations available. One model features a jumping hour window at the 12 o'clock position and is available in three cases: 18K yellow gold, 18K pink gold, and platinum. The other is a platinum case model with a jumping hour window at the 10 o'clock position, limited to 200 pieces worldwide. All models are equipped with the hand-wound movement Cal. 9755 MC.
