Tudor's 2025 New Release ① "Pelagos Ultra"

A new collection has been added to Tudor's Pelagos collection: the Pelagos Ultra, which is water resistant to 1000m.

Tudor 2025 New Pelagos Ultra

Tudor Pelagos Ultra Ref. M2543CLA7NU-0001
Automatic movement (Cal. MT5612-U). 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 65 hours. Ti case (diameter 43mm, thickness 14.5mm). Water resistant to 1000m. Price: 839,300 yen (tax included).

The Pelagos has been developed as a tool watch suitable for underwater exploration. Previous models, such as the 500m water resistant model and the "lefty" model with the crown at 9 o'clock, were watches that perfectly emphasized this tool-like feel.

However, the model announced this time is water resistant to 1000m, far exceeding the 500m. It is designed to withstand the harsh environments associated with saturation diving, and features a wide unidirectional rotating bezel typical of Pelagos, giving it a truly robust finish.

The titanium case is equipped with a helium escape valve for saturation diving, and the unidirectional rotating bezel is also made of titanium. The bezel insert is made of matte ceramic.

The case diameter is a generous 43mm, symbolizing the watch's high water resistance. However, previous Pelagos cases were 39mm or 42mm in diameter, so it's not particularly bulky compared to previous models. It's also 14.5mm thick, which is standard for a diver's watch. The Tudor watch case is short in length and made of lightweight titanium, so it should be comfortable to wear. The case is a new design, made from a combination of titanium alloy and pure titanium.

Furthermore, the dial is larger than the previous model, with thicker hands and larger indexes. The minute hand and the luminous point at 12 o'clock are painted green, while the rest of the timepiece is painted blue, ensuring high visibility in any location.

The dial is coated with luminous paint that glows in two colors: blue and green. The "PERAGOS" logo at 6 o'clock is light blue, which is a new design and gives it a fresh feel.

The redesigned bracelet is also made of titanium. One factor contributing to the excellent fit is the "T-fit" folding clasp, a unique Tudor mechanism that allows for fine adjustment without tools. The clasp also features a visual indicator with luminous markers, making it convenient to check the bracelet's settings at a glance, even in the dark.

The case is connected to the watch with titanium end links, and it comes with a black rubber strap with an extension that can be extended to 110mm.

Even more noteworthy is the fact that the Pelagos is equipped with the Master Chronometer-certified movement, Cal. MT5612-U. This standard, first adopted with the Black Bay, is a specification befitting the Pelagos's high specs of 1000m water resistance. This high-performance movement boasts a high magnetic resistance of 15,000 gauss, and a practical power reserve of approximately 65 hours.

The selling price is 839,300 yen including tax.

Tudor 2025 New Release ② "Black Bay 68"

Two new models have also been released, both equipped with Master Chronometer-certified movements and featuring the largest case diameter in the collection, at 43mm.

Tudor 2025 Black Bay 68

Tudor Black Bay Sixty-Eight, Ref. M7943ALA0NU-0001/M7943ALA0NU-0002
Automatic movement (Cal. MT5601-U). 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 70 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 43mm, thickness 13.6mm). Water resistant to 200m. Price: 734,800 yen each (tax included).

These two new models are named "Black Bay 68." While smaller cases are a trend in the watch industry, the brand says they were introduced to "meet the need for a variety of sizes to fit all wrists." Incidentally, Black Bay collection names often include a number. This number is based on the company's archives, and this model is from 1968, the year Tudor's iconic "snowflake hands" (also known as squid hands in Japan) were introduced, and was officially added to the catalog the following year. Another notable feature of this model, which commemorates this memorable year for the brand, is the incorporation of another of the brand's signature colors, the Tudor Blue. Of course, the silver dial also offers excellent legibility and aesthetic appeal, allowing you to choose the watch according to your preferences.

The blue dial with a sun-brushed satin finish will send rays of light in various directions as you move your wrist. Both the case and bracelet are made of stainless steel, so they are heavy, but this model also features a "T-fit" quick-adjust clasp that can be easily fine-tuned, so it can be worn comfortably once it is snugly on the wrist.

While this model respects Tudor's long history, it also incorporates new elements, such as a bracelet that is no longer riveted, but instead features a new, cleaner design.

The retail price for each model is 663,300 yen (tax included). With high magnetic resistance thanks to the Master Chronometer-certified movement Cal. MT5601-U and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, these new models are ideal for everyday use.

Tudor 2025 New Release #3: Black Bay 58

Three new burgundy-colored models have been released for the popular Black Bay 58, which boasts a 39mm diameter.

While the Black Bay has long been known for its red bezel, the deep burgundy of this model is a rare find. Furthermore, the color is used not only on the bezel but also on the dial, giving the watch a strong character.

Although it's a new color scheme, the design inherited from the Black Bay 58 archives remains intact. Also, while it's a color not found on the Black Bay, it was used on the 1990 Submariner, Ref. 79190. Incidentally, the Black Bay uses aluminum instead of ceramic for the bezel, which contributes to its retro feel.

The anodized burgundy bezel features a white diving scale for excellent legibility.

The movement used is the Master Chronometer certified Cal. MT5400-U.

It comes in three different versions: a five-row link bracelet, a three-row link bracelet, and a black rubber strap, all of which feature a "T-fit" quick-adjust clasp.

Tudor's 2025 New Release #4: Black Bay Pro

Three new models with opaline dials have been added to the Black Bay Pro, which features a design reminiscent of the history of Rolex's Oyster Perpetual Explorer II.

Tudor Black Bay Pro

Tudor Black Bay Pro Ref. M79470-0004
Automatic movement (Cal. MT5652). 28 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 70 hours. Stainless steel case (39mm diameter). Water resistant to 200m. Price: 685,300 yen (tax included).

Tudor Black Bay Pro

Tudor Black Bay Pro Ref. M79470-0005/M79470-0006
Automatic movement (Cal. MT5652). 28 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 70 hours. Stainless steel case (39mm diameter). Water resistant to 200m. 572,000 yen each (tax included).

The Black Bay Pro was released in 2022. When it was first released, it was only available in the bold black dial color of the original Explorer II, but this time, a new color has been added. The 24-hour hand is yellow, adding a pop and modern accent to the Black Bay Pro's otherwise strongly retro impression. The hour markers are made of ceramic, and the black border prevents them from being lost in the opaline dial, making them easy to read even under strong light sources.

The opaline dial creates a refreshing impression.

The bezel remains stainless steel with a 24-hour scale printed directly on it, and the satin-brushed metal bezel and domed sapphire crystal give it the look of a vintage tool watch.

The design is retro, but the performance is modern. The movement Cal. MT5652 used in this watch is a COSC chronometer-certified automatic with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The hour hand is also a jumping hour type that can be moved backwards. Furthermore, a date display is located at the 3 o'clock position and is linked to the local time hour hand. However, if this hand is moved backwards at midnight while adjusting the time, the date will jump to the previous day.

The lineup includes three types: a bracelet model, a fabric strap model with yellow stripes, and a hybrid strap with leather and rubber lining. The bracelet model is equipped with Tudor's unique "T-fit" adjustment system.

Tudor 2025 New Release #5: Black Bay Chrono

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Tudor's first chronograph, and the new Black Bay Chrono was announced in this milestone year.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono Ref. M79360N-0011/M79360N-0011
Automatic movement (Cal. MT5813). 41 jewels. Power reserve: approximately 70 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 41mm). Water resistant to 200m. Price: 816,200 yen (tax included).

Automatic movement (Cal. MT5813). 41 jewels. Power reserve: approximately 70 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 41mm). Water resistant to 200m. Price: 816,200 yen (tax included).

The Black Bay Chrono is a collection of chronograph models from Tudor that was launched in 2017. While this may sound new, Tudor produced its first chronograph watch in 1970. At the time, it was equipped with the ETA7750, but the current model uses the in-house movement Cal. MT5813, which has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, making it a more practical and modern model.

This year, a new model was released with a five-link bracelet for a more dressy look, while the three-link model has also been updated with a "T-fit" quick-adjust clasp.

The price is 816,200 yen for the three-row link model and 831,600 yen for the five-row link model (tax included).
