First Feature: The Untold History of 100 Years: Anatomy of Watch Design

The year 2025 marks the beginning of a period in which the major luxury sports watch movement that began in the late 2010s appears to have reached a plateau. Trends currently being touted in the watch industry include a revival of 1970s designs, the resurgence of dress watches, and the emergence of quiet luxury. To understand the current state of rapidly changing watch design, Chronos Japan will analyze watch design from two perspectives: design theory and technology theory.
The former traces the evolution of watch design from its birth to the present day, while the latter introduces the constraints that arise in the process of turning a watch design into a product, and how these have been overcome to realize ideal designs. This is the definitive guide to watch design, which has been developed by mankind over the past 100 years.
Second Feature: Portraits of Iconic Pieces 86 The Citizen

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the launch of The Citizen. This collection was born as a practical watch unique to Citizen, and since 2005 has been positioned as the company's flagship. However, its features, such as high precision, practicality, and thorough after-sales service, have remained unchanged for the past 30 years. Its unique character reflects the history of Citizen itself.
Feature 3: LVMH Watch Week 2025

LVMH Watch Week took place in New York and Paris in January 2025. This year, the sixth edition of the event, saw the participation of nine brands, including Bulgari, Hublot, Zenith, and Tag Heuer, as well as Louis Vuitton, Daniel Roth, Gérald Genta, Tiffany, and L'Epée 1839. Each maison presented new creations that further emphasized their individuality, demonstrating the diversity of the LVMH Group.
Watch Paranoia Chronicles, Part 61: "Talents Leaving Watchmaking School"

Every year, watch schools produce new talent for the watch industry. Among them are people who are particularly passionate about making their own watches. The graduation festival at Hiko Mizuno Jewelry College, Japan's leading watch school, is a rare opportunity to meet such talented people.
