The cool design of this watch is inspired by the icy landscape of Mount Vinson Massif. The dial also features a world time display, date, day & night, and dual time functions, each with its own hemisphere at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock.

The case back features a realistic depiction of Mount Vinson Massif, created using 3D laser color engraving technology. Other highlights include the dial's northern hemisphere dots representing the seven highest peaks in the world, as seen in Messner's list, and the case side features glow-in-the-dark mountain outlines, making this a truly special timepiece.

The case diameter is 43.5mm and the thickness is 13mm. The strap is an interchangeable rubber strap, a first for the 1858 collection, and its blue-green color and climbing rope pattern emphasize the concept of the collection.

The movement is the Cal. MB 29.25, which has a world time function. The power reserve is approximately 42 hours. This model is a tribute to the year 1986, when Reinhold Messner conquered the Seven Summits, and only 986 pieces will be sold worldwide.

The annual calendar features a red pointer around the dial's periphery to indicate the month. This pointer is inspired by the spear held by Minerva, the Roman goddess of arts and crafts. The month of July has been replaced with the word "Minerva," paying homage to July 30, 1887, when the Minerva trademark and arrow were registered.

The Northern Hemisphere is hand-painted with an orange Greenwich Mean Time line and is surrounded by a two-tone day/night color scheme, adding a unique dimension to this timeless piece. The world time display can also be changed to the Southern Hemisphere upon request.

The 42mm case features a fixed fluted bezel inspired by the first Minerva model released in 1927. The strap is made of blue calf leather with an alligator print and can be replaced with other straps.
