As the name Sinn Special Watch Company suggests, Sinn has been using its own unique technology to manufacture tool watches for a variety of purposes. This approach, which is quite different from other watch brands, has earned it the support of its core fans. Sinn has been announcing a series of new watches for 2025. The lineup is rich in variety, ranging from a limited edition model with a case made from the exterior wall of a submarine to an elegant ladies' watch that still retains the Sinn signature.
"U15," "U16," and "U18" use the exterior walls of a real submarine as their cases.
Three limited edition models, "U15," "U16," and "U18," have been announced, using the outer wall of a real submarine for the middle case and rotating bezel of the watch. Before explaining this model, let's talk about "U-boat steel," a material that Sinn has been using for diver's watches for 20 years.

U-boat steel is a special steel developed for German submarines. Its key features include high stress resistance, excellent seawater resistance, and non-magnetic properties. These characteristics make it ideal for diving watches, and Sinn has been using it by purchasing unused steel from steel manufacturers. The three limited edition models announced this time feature the exterior hulls of the retired German Type 206 submarines "U15," "U16," and "U18." These three ships performed vital duties protecting the Baltic Sea and its access routes for nearly 40 years. Therefore, these watches pay tribute to German engineering, which has designed and manufactured frontline-capable submarines for many years, and the contributions of each submarine.
Based on the design of the traditional "U1," this model features a distinctive exterior with a rotating bezel and a crown at 4 o'clock. However, as a special design for this limited edition model, the dial incorporates a scene of the ocean approximately 30 meters deep, featuring countless air bubbles rising against a deep bluish-green background. Paying tribute to the long-standing contributions of each submarine, the voyage distance and type, KLASSE 206, are inscribed. The case back is also engraved with the silhouette of a Type 206 submarine. A key feature of the case manufacturing method is that the outer wall of the submarine is not melted and remolded, but is instead cut out and used for the middle case and rotating bezel. This demonstrates the high quality of the steel used.
各モデルはスペックが異なっており、U15は500m防水でケース径41mm、ケース厚11.2mm、U16は1000m防水でケース径44mm、厚さ14.7mm、U18は2000m防水でケース径44mm、厚さ15.5mmである。

"T50 Gold Bronze B" made with our original material Gold Bronze 125
The T50 Gold Bronze B has been announced, featuring a case made from Sinn's patented proprietary material, Gold Bronze 125. Gold Bronze 125 is characterized by its extremely low impurity content, other than the intentionally selected alloy components. The 1/8th gold content and minimal impurities enhance corrosion resistance in seawater and minimize the development of the bronze's characteristic patina. Furthermore, it also reduces the possibility of skin reactions, such as allergies, which are difficult to avoid with bronze alloys.

While the basic design is based on the conventional "T50," it is combined with a dark blue dial reminiscent of the deep sea, specially prepared for this work. The combination of this dark blue with the elegant and bright color of Gold Bronze 125 gives it a chic impression. The fabric strap that is combined with it is also dark blue, completing the color coordination.
This model boasts the same high basic performance as the previous T50. Its outstanding features include 500m water resistance, decompression resistance, a specially bonded unidirectional rotating bezel, and Ar Dry Technology to prevent fogging inside the crystal. Additionally, the case back, which comes into direct contact with the wrist, is made of high-purity titanium, which not only eliminates the possibility of skin reactions such as allergies, but also contributes to its lighter weight and reduced coldness when touched by the skin.

Automatic movement (Cal. SW300-1). 25 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 50 hours. Gold bronze 125 case (41mm diameter, 12.3mm thick). Water resistant to 500m. Limited to 300 pieces worldwide. Estimated price: 1,265,000 yen (tax included). Scheduled for release this summer.
"613 St" and "613 St UTC" with a 60-minute counter at the 6 o'clock position

The 613 St diver's chronograph features a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock, while the 613 St UTC adds a UTC (GMT) display. The previous 206 diving chronograph featured a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter. The new 613 St, on the other hand, features a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock, creating a dial design suited to measuring times up to 60 minutes. Another distinctive feature is the large, white counter, making it stand out. These improvements are typical of Sinn, and reflect the needs of divers who frequently use chronographs and prioritize measuring times longer than 30 minutes but shorter than 60 minutes.
Like previous models, the pushers use the D3 system, allowing the chronograph to be operated underwater. Furthermore, the watch boasts high basic performance, including 500m water resistance based on DIN 8310 and certification in accordance with DNV European diving equipment standards EN 250/EN 14143. This makes it a reliable partner for users who want to use a chronograph in harsh environments where it is likely to get wet, in addition to diving.

Automatic movement (Cal. SW515). 23 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 56 hours. Stainless steel case (41mm diameter, 15mm thick). Water resistant to 500m. Estimated price: 715,000 yen (tax included). Scheduled for release this summer.
The "613 St UTC" is a model that adds a UTC (GMT) display function to the center. A typical Sinn design is that the UTC hand is colored a darker gray than the hour and minute hands, deliberately reducing the contrast with the dial. This is likely a consideration to prevent it from being mistaken for the hour and minute hands while diving.

Automatic movement (Cal. SW535). 23 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 56 hours. Stainless steel case (41mm diameter, 15mm thick). Water resistant to 500m. Estimated price: 715,000 yen (tax included). Scheduled for release this summer.
"534 Mother of Pearl S" "534 Mother of Pearl W"

The company has announced the release of the 534 Mother of Pearl S and 534 Mother of Pearl W, two elegant ladies' watches with mother-of-pearl dials. The two models share a common basic design, with a round case and bar indexes, and the 534 Mother of Pearl S uses a black mother-of-pearl dial, while the 534 Mother of Pearl W uses a white mother-of-pearl dial.
The highlight is the bezel, named the "faceted bezel." It has a texture that combines 24 diamond-shaped facets, and when light hits it, it reflects light in various directions and shines.

This is an elegant ladies' watch, but it also has the distinctive Sinn flair. The movement is Cal. SW300-1, with a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. It also has anti-magnetic properties in accordance with DIN 8309, water resistance to 10 bar, and water resistance and decompression resistance in accordance with DIN 8310. The hour and minute hands, which are a modern evolution of the Alpha hands, exude a tool watch feel, further highlighting the Sinn flair.

Automatic movement (Cal. SW300-1). 25 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 50 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 34mm, thickness 9mm). Water resistant to 10 bar. Estimated price: 456,000 yen (tax included). Scheduled for release this summer.
