"Tambour Otomatic Ceramic" with a ceramic case
A new variation has been added to the Louis Vuitton Tambour. The most eye-catching model is the Tambour Automatic Ceramic. This model features a brown ceramic exterior with rose gold accents reminiscent of the Monogram.
To adopt the ceramic case, it was necessary to revamp the exterior design while keeping the original design intact. Specifically, the inner container protecting the movement is made of 18K rose gold, and this is covered by a ceramic middle case. This allows the rose gold case back to be screwed down, allowing for a water resistance of 5 bar and a styling that is 8.3 mm thick.
The bracelet also features a completely new structure, with ceramic components mounted on a "backbone" made of connected 18KRG components, achieving both flexibility and design, enhancing the bracelet's comfort. The brown ceramic color is a reference to the color of trunks, which is also linked to the Maison's roots, so it's easy to imagine that meticulous care was taken in matching the color. As a model that expresses the worldview of Louis Vuitton, it is only natural that the level of perfection is extremely high.
The Tambour Automatic Yellow Gold Onyx, which was also announced, features an 18K yellow gold exterior and a bezel set with saffron sapphires. It is also the first model in the collection to feature a hard stone dial, combining multiple black onyx parts. The Tambour Automatic Platinum Rainbow features a platinum exterior and a bezel and indexes set with sapphires and rubies to create a rainbow gradient.
