Frederique Constant, which has been manufacturing high-quality watches at reasonable prices under the brand concept of "affordable luxury," has released a collection of new watches for 2025. The company's "Classic" series, characterized by its timeless and classic design, includes models equipped with a perpetual calendar and a tourbillon.
"Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture"

Frederique Constant has announced the launch of the "Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture," a perpetual calendar model that embodies the brand philosophy of "affordable luxury." As the name suggests, this model is equipped with a perpetual calendar, a complex mechanism.
Frederique Constant first introduced a perpetual calendar model to its lineup in 2016. At the time of its release, this model was talked about as an "accessible perpetual calendar model." This 2025 model will be equipped with the Caliber FC-776, an automatic movement with updated technical specifications and movement finishing from the Caliber FC-775 featured in the first model in 2016. This new movement boasts a practical power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and has been adjusted and tested in six positions.

Automatic movement (Cal. FC-776). 26 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 72 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 40mm, thickness 12.1mm). Water resistant to 5 bar. Estimated price: 165 million yen (tax included).
The case has been downsized to a diameter of 40mm, and its simple round design creates a classic and chic look. The dial is salmon-colored, creating a classic impression, and the sunburst decoration creates a unique look with the reflection of light. It features a month and leap-year display at 12 o'clock, a date display at 3 o'clock, and a day of the week display at 9 o'clock. Each subdial is given a contrast with its record-like decoration and gradation, adding dynamism to the entire watch. There is also a moon phase display at 6 o'clock.
Despite its rich content, the price of this work is kept to 165 million yen (tax included), which can be said to embody the philosophy of "luxury watches at an affordable price."
"Classic Tourbillon Manufacture" Green Dial Model

A chic green dial model has been added to the "Classic Tourbillon Manufacture." The Classic Tourbillon Manufacture was first released as a commemorative model to celebrate the brand's 35th anniversary in 2023. Following the first model with an 18K rose gold case, a model with a stainless steel case and a navy dial was added to the lineup.
The new model is a stainless steel case with a green dial. This green is a chic color that has been used in other models, and the sunburst decoration on the dial adds a touch of brilliance. The dial and case are classically simple, focusing on the allure of the tourbillon located at 6 o'clock.

Automatic movement (Cal. FC-980). Stainless steel case (39mm diameter, 10.9mm thick). Water resistant to 5 ATM. Limited to 150 pieces worldwide. Price: 253 million yen (tax included). Scheduled for release in September 2025.
The movement is the Cal. FC-980, an in-house movement with a silicon escape wheel and anchor. In keeping with the tradition of Geneva-made timepieces, the watch features an angled, circular-grained, and cerclage finish. Unusually for a tourbillon model, this model also features a seconds hand mounted on the carriage, making it easy to check the time down to the second. While the skeletonization of the carriage is common in many tourbillon models, Frederique Constant pioneered the open-heart design, and this design reflects the company's history.
