Angelus, an independent brand where tradition and innovation intersect, has added a new model to its La Fabrique collection. The Chronograph Telemeter, named after the name of the brand, is a genuine mechanical chronograph equipped with a monopusher mechanism and a telemeter scale. While boasting a modest 37mm case diameter, this limited edition model combines vintage-inspired details with modern manufacturing techniques and is available in three different dial colors.

Angelus announces limited edition "Chronograph Telemeter" model
Angelus has announced the Chronograph Telemeter, featuring a 37mm case and a monopusher mechanism, in limited editions of 25 pieces in stainless steel and 15 pieces in 18K yellow gold.

A timepiece with a history
Angelus adds a new chapter to its prestigious La Fabrique collection with this model, symbolizing its venerable tradition and sophisticated chronograph manufacturing techniques. Founded in 1891 by the Stolz brothers in Le Locle, the company has been creating innovative timepieces such as minute repeaters and chronographs since its inception. This new model is inspired by these legendary models and carries on the brand's iconic design codes.
A precision scale for measuring distance
The "telemeter" that gives the model its name is a scale that is linked to the chronograph hand and measures distance based on the speed of sound. For example, if you start the chronograph the moment you see lightning and stop it when you hear thunder, you can calculate the distance to the event based on the speed of sound (approximately 1240 km/h).

A fusion of mechanical beauty and tradition

At its heart is the in-house manufactured Cal. A5000, a manual-winding monopusher chronograph movement with 3N gold-plated plates and bridges and palladium-plated chronograph components.
The power reserve is approximately 42 hours, and it has a small second hand at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock. The mechanism is driven by a column wheel and horizontal clutch, and its structure is reminiscent of chronographs from the 1940s to 70s.
High-quality materials and comfortable fit
The case is available in stainless steel or 18K yellow gold, and the crystal is a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The case back is also made of sapphire crystal, allowing you to view the intricate movement.
The straps are made of high-quality calf leather in steel blue, anthracite gray, or sage green, and the buckles are available in gold or steel pin buckles, depending on the model.
Limited quantity and price
This model is limited to 15 pieces in 18K gold and 25 pieces in each color in stainless steel, making it a true collector's item for any lover of fine watchmaking.
