 Backes & Strauss, the world's oldest diamond maison, founded in London in 1789, has announced the new Berkeley Namib Sun, a dazzling jewelry watch that incorporates the company's proud diamond watchmaking techniques.

 The dial is set with 96 fancy intense yellow diamonds mined in Namibia, each cut in a Berkeley style, named after the London park Berkeley Square.

 The octagonal case is crafted from 18K white gold and is set with 100 baguette-cut diamonds in invisible settings, including an ideal-cut diamond on the crown.

 It is equipped with an automatic movement and comes on an alligator strap with white stitching.
