A long-established Geneva company with a rich history and outstanding technical capabilities
Vacheron Constantin is the world's oldest watch brand, having continued its history uninterrupted since its founding in 1755. Embracing the tradition, technology, and innovation that have been nurtured over its long history, the company's timepieces are the envy of watch enthusiasts.
The attractive collections feature timeless and iconic designs, such as the Patrimony and Fiftysix, which inherit designs from the 1950s, and the Overseas, which is an evolution of the 222, which was born in 1977, and all have an elegant appearance.
Another distinguishing feature of the company is that many of its models have been awarded the Hallmark of Geneva, a prestigious mark that certifies precision, origin, and exceptional traditional finishing techniques, signifying the highest quality of luxury timepieces.
Vacheron Constantin watches boast excellent design and quality, backed by a distinguished history. They are perfect for mature men who have experienced the good and the bad and appreciate the true essence of life. From their extensive lineup, ranging from slim dress watches to high-complication watches, we present five recommendations.

Overseas Moon Phase Retrograde Date, Ref. 4000V/210A-B911
The Overseas Moon Phase Retrograde Date is a complication watch that adds a poetic element to the sporty Overseas. The hand-type date display is located between 9 and 3 o'clock, and is equipped with a retrograde mechanism that instantly jumps the hand to 9 o'clock at the end of the 31st day. A small window at 6 o'clock displays the highly accurate moon phase, which only needs to be adjusted once every 122 years. A three-dimensional 18K gold moon shines on the star-studded blue disc, reminiscent of a star-filled night sky.
The stainless steel case with integrated strap is just 10.48mm thick, despite the complication movement, making it easy to handle. It comes with a stainless steel bracelet, rubber strap, and leather strap, so you can change it to suit your mood.
The movement is the Geneva-certified Cal. 2460 R31L/2, and its finish can be admired through the see-through caseback.

Patrimony Automatic, Reference 85180/000R-9248
The Patrimony collection is a classic dress watch that inherits the design codes of the 1950s. As you reach your 40s and older, you'll likely find yourself attending more formal occasions, such as dinners and parties. The elegant Patrimony collection offers peace of mind.
The silver-tone dial has a soft, opaline finish, and while it has a simple design with slender indexes and hands, the dial is curved like a bombe and features a pearl-like minute track, creating a three-dimensional effect.
The 40mm case is crafted from 18K pink gold. While maintaining a classic round shape, its contemporary size and short lugs give it a modern finish. Another attractive feature is the see-through back, allowing you to admire the Cal. 2450 Q6/3 movement inside.

The Patrimony Manual-Winding is a two-hand model equipped with the simplest hand-wound movement in the Patrimony collection. Its basic design codes are the same as those of the Patrimony Automatic, but its dial, lacking a second hand or date display, makes it a simple design that can also be used as a dress watch in the strict sense. It also features a monotone color scheme, combining a silver dial with indices and hands in the same color.
The 18K white gold case measures a modern 40mm in diameter. Thanks to its slim, hand-wound movement, the case itself is just 6.79mm thick, allowing it to slip easily under the cuffs of a tuxedo or suit.
The movement is the Cal. 1400, which is only 2.6mm thick. Because the case is a solid back, you cannot see it directly, but it is decorated with excellent decoration that meets the standards of the Geneva Hallmark.
In terms of versatility, the 18K white gold case model introduced here wins, but if you value elegance, the 18K pink gold case model would also be an attractive option.
