Jacob & Co. has unveiled the new Astronomia Revolution Four-Axis Tourbillon, a revolutionary four-axis tourbillon. The four axes rotate at different intervals: 60 seconds, 18 seconds, 15 seconds, and then back to 60 seconds. This timepiece defies the boundaries of haute horlogerie.

Innovative four-axis tourbillon
At the heart of this piece is an extremely dynamic four-axis tourbillon. The four axes rotate at speeds of 60 seconds on the first axis of the entire two-arm movement, 60 seconds on the second axis, 18 seconds on the third axis, and 15 seconds on the fourth axis, creating an unprecedented movement. This mechanism is driven by the hand-wound movement, Cal. JCAM54. The tip of the carriage is equipped with a three-axis tourbillon, which completes one rotation in just one minute. Furthermore, a constant-force mechanism is incorporated to maintain high precision through a stable energy supply.

Caliber JCAM54 (hand-wound). 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 36 hours. 18KRG case (diameter 47.00mm, thickness 27.00mm). Water resistant to 3 ATM. Limited to 18 pieces worldwide. Price upon request.
Sculptural design in gold and sapphire
The case is 47mm in diameter and is crafted from 18K rose gold and sapphire crystal, showcasing the beauty of the materials to the fullest. The dial features a highly polished gold plate and a mosaic of geometric motifs, dramatically reflecting light. Unlike gemstone settings, the rose gold parts are inverted, highlighting the contrast between light and shadow and adding a sense of three-dimensional depth.
A decade of innovation
Since the first Astronomia Tourbillon in 2015, the collection has been pushing the boundaries of haute horlogerie. Initially, the movement completed one rotation every 20 minutes, which was then reduced to 10 minutes, and then to just 60 seconds with the Astronomia Revolution in 2023. In 2025, a fourth axis was added, opening up a new dimension in watchmaking with the Astronomia Revolution Four-Axis Tourbillon.
Words by Jacob Arabo
Jacob Arabo, founder and chairman of Jacob & Co., said: "The 10th anniversary of Astronomia marks a significant milestone for us. We made our mark on the watchmaking world with the launch of the Five Time Zone in 2002, and then reached the pinnacle of Haute Horlogerie with Astronomia in 2015. By constantly challenging the impossible, we have broken new ground in creativity, case design and technology, and our evolution shows no signs of slowing down."
