German watch brands NOMOS Glashütte and Meistersinger have both been recognized with the Red Dot Design Award, a global design award. Their sophisticated designs and beautiful construction earned them high praise from the international jury. Let's take a look at some of the award-winning products in the watch category, including some from non-German brands.

Red Dot Design Award-winning German brand
Since its founding in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award has been recognized as one of the world's most prestigious design awards. An international and independent jury selects outstanding product designs, and the 2025 award was judged by 43 experts from 21 countries. The watch category has been included for many years, and this year both German brands Meistersinger and Nomos Glashütte were named winners. We will also introduce watches from brands outside of Germany.

The announcement continues
Many other watches will receive the Red Dot Design Award in 2025. Not all winners have been revealed yet. The official announcement will be made at the awards ceremony on July 8, 2025, at the Aalto Theater in Essen, northwest Germany.
This year's watch category jury consisted of three members: Rüdiger Bucher, editor of WatchTime magazine, Gisbert L. Brunner, a long-time watch journalist, and Simon Husslein, professor of interior design at the Geneva University of Arts and Design.
