She has always been passionate about her costumes, and when she played a doctor in one production, she was particular about the way the pleats in her white coat were drawn. The aesthetics of the Japanese gentleman, adorned with British sophistication

Hiroshi Tachi has always maintained a dandy appearance and adheres to the code of a Japanese gentleman. Influenced by his grandfather's love of British culture, he began tailoring coats at a clothing store from a young age, building on that experience.

When she won the Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Award in 2019, she took the stage and commented, "When I saw this award on TV, I thought that someday I would like to have one too. At my age, jewelry is something that you give to others, or something that you are forced to buy. Recently, I was wearing a Rugby World Cup badge, and I would like to take this opportunity to start wearing jewelry," and smiled at the audience.

From a family of doctors to an actor, the path to eternal stardom

Tachi Hiroshi was born into a former samurai family, but his father and brother were doctors. He considered following the same path himself, but his love of art led him to become an architect. While attending university, he watched an American biker movie and became fascinated with motorcycles, so he formed the motorcycle team "COOLS" in Harajuku, Tokyo. This caught the attention of people in the entertainment industry, leading to his debut.

His film debut was in "Violent Classroom," starring Matsuda Yusaku. His exchange of blows with Matsuda Yusaku, who played the teacher, left such a strong impression that the president of Toei reportedly instructed them to actively promote Tachi Hiroshi. After joining Ishihara Productions, he particularly admired Watari Tetsuya, and he appeared in the TV drama "Seibu Keisatsu," learning a great deal from him.

What is the watch that Tachi Hiroshi chose to wear in his interview with Narita Yusuke?

Hiroshi Tachi appeared on "Yoake Mae no PLAYERS," a talk show where economist Yusuke Narita talks candidly with popular guests. The program also served as a promotion for the movie "ABUDEKA IS BACK."

He spoke politely to Narita, who was younger than him, and was careful not to talk too much about topics the other person didn't know about, which impressed viewers, who commented, "This is how a gentleman should be." A digest of the program is available for free on YouTube.

During the program, the watch Tate wore was a Breguet Tradition.

The title of the YouTube post is "Tachi Hiroshi x Narita Yusuke: 'What is the philosophy of a man who lives casually?' 'The words that Watari Tetsuya said to me changed my life!' Narita dissects the great actor who makes him nervous!". The video was released 11 months ago and has already been viewed 35 times.

An elegant collection paying homage to Breguet's history

The Tradition collection combines Breguet's history with sophisticated technical expertise, elevating classic designs with modern touches such as off-center dials, Breguet hands, guilloching, and coin edges.

The watch worn by Hiroshi Tachi is believed to be the "7027," which features a bold structure that exposes the movement's gear train on the dial side. It also boasts advanced technology unique to Breguet, such as a shock-resistant parachute mechanism at 4 o'clock.

A watch that combines tradition and innovation, with a sense of elegance that speaks for itself on the wrist

After Ishihara Productions disbanded, he founded Tate Productions and has been active as an actor, most recently starring in the film "Light of the Port." His attitude and elegance, which belies his age of 75, are also evident in the watches he chooses.

Tachi Hiroshi's watch, which he wears, is a reflection of his unwavering pursuit of essential value, unwavering in its timelessness. His sensitivity in selecting Breguet's technology and aesthetics, which are highly acclaimed among watch enthusiasts, speaks to the discerning eye of Tachi Hiroshi, who has supported the Japanese film industry for many years.

On the other hand, the Breguet Tradition watch's positioning, which respects tradition but is not afraid of innovation, overlaps with Tachi's own career. It may be that this is the watch that Tachi Hiroshi chose precisely because he grew up watching such great stars as Tetsuya Watari and Yujiro Ishihara, yet continued to exude his own unique presence.

Tachi Hiroshi is not only a dandy but also plays roles that are full of humanity, so we look forward to seeing him continue to excel in the future.
