New "3500 Series" designed for Arctic missions
Luminox has unveiled a sports watch with a white fiberglass case and a black dial. Robustness, reliability, and camouflage are the hallmarks of a so-called "mission timepiece." These types of watches, designed specifically for special forces and military personnel, are subject to extremely high standards.

Quartz movement (Ronda Cal. 515). Fiberglass case (diameter 45mm, thickness 14mm). Water resistant to 20 bar. Price: 84,150 yen (tax included).
Luminox, an American brand with many years of experience in this field, has produced some of the most popular tactical watches. The Swiss-made brand is also known for its long-standing partnership with the US Navy SEALs and its affiliated organization, the Navy SEAL Foundation, and has developed numerous special edition models that are available commercially.

The newly announced model is an expanded version of the Navy SEAL 3500 series. Developed for use in extremely cold, icy conditions, the high-contrast black and white color scheme ensures excellent visibility while maintaining excellent camouflage performance.

The case and unidirectional rotating bezel are made of lightweight yet durable white fiberglass. The case diameter is 45mm and the thickness is 14mm. The case back and crown are screw-down, ensuring water resistance to 20 bar. The stainless steel case back, engraved with the Navy SEAL Foundation logo, symbolizes durability and reliability. The watch is designed to withstand the snow and ice melting in spring and summer.
The crystal is made of mineral glass. Inside, the black dial and large white indexes are arranged, allowing for instant reading due to the contrast. In addition, Luminox's proprietary Luminox Light Technology is used, maintaining visibility even in dark places. Microtubes filled with tritium gas attached to the dial and hands glow green and orange and will remain self-luminous for up to 25 years.
The watch is powered by the highly reliable and accurate Ronda Cal. 515 quartz movement. It has a battery life of approximately 50 months. It comes on a white rubber strap for added comfort and stability. It's priced at 84,150 yen. It's a watch that looks great on polar missions, at the beach, or at a café in the summer.
