Titanium is becoming increasingly popular in luxury watches

With advances in processing technology, many brands have begun to adopt titanium as a material for their watches. In the past, when grade 2 was the norm, titanium watches were often associated with a slightly dark, sandblasted exterior. However, with the spread of grade 5 titanium, which is easier to give a luxurious finish, it is no longer uncommon to see titanium watches with aesthetic qualities comparable to stainless steel.

Titanium's main features are its light weight, corrosion resistance, and anti-allergy properties. Wearing a large sports watch for extended periods of time can be tiring, even in solid gold or stainless steel. However, a titanium case makes it comfortable to wear. It also resists rusting even when exposed to seawater, making it durable. Titanium, which does not contain nickel, is less likely to cause metal allergies. While these features are considered superior to those of grade 5 titanium alloys, grade 5 has the edge in terms of hardness.

Titanium enhances the practicality of luxury watches. Let us introduce some of the most notable pieces that utilize this material.
