IWC and Laureus celebrate 20 years of partnership with limited edition model
IWC has announced the Portofino Automatic Pointer Date Edition "Laureus Sport for Good" (Ref. IW359202), the 17th special edition produced to support the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation (hereafter referred to as the Laureus Foundation).
Swiss watch brand IWC has a long-standing partnership with the international foundation, which promotes social change for children and young people through sport, and this work is part of their annual release series.
The organization is supporting a New York girls' skating organization.
The 2025 model focuses on Figure Skating in Harlem, a U.S. program that combines academic support, leadership development, and figure skating.
The organization works with more than 200 girls annually in New York City and is the only program of its kind to combine academic support, leadership education and the creative development of figure skating.
A refined dial with a striking Laureus blue finish
This model is housed in an elegant stainless steel case, measuring 39mm in diameter and 10.7mm thick, with a beautifully polished finish that complements the Laureus Blue dial.
This deep blue is enhanced by a sun-brushed finish and complements the refined rhodium-plated hands, applied indexes, and the Roman numeral "XII" at 12 o'clock. A notable feature is the pointer date display at 6 o'clock, which changes precisely at midnight every night.
In-house movement and commemorative engraving
The watch is powered by the automatic IWC Cal. 35160 movement, which beats at 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The case back features the Laureus Foundation logo and a special engraving commemorating the 25th anniversary of the foundation.

IWC became a global partner of the Laureus Foundation in 2005 and has since supported more than 300 social projects around the world. This special edition marks this ongoing commitment and also celebrates the milestone of 25 years of the partnership between IWC and the Laureus Foundation.
The blue strap adds a finishing touch
This model is paired with a blue calfskin strap with a butterfly folding clasp, and its muted color and soft texture balance out the clean-cut dial.
