Laurent Ferrier's 7th installment of the "Serie Atelier" collection has arrived
Geneva Watch Days, a Swiss watch fair, will be held for the sixth time in 2025. This year, 66 brands are participating, unveiling new models and exhibiting watches from each brand in hotels and boutiques in Geneva.
Laurent Ferrier, which will be participating in the fair, announced the "Classic Tourbillon Teal - Cellier Atelier."

Manual winding (Cal. LF619.01). 23 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Pt case (diameter 41mm, thickness 12.50mm). Water resistant to 3 bar. Limited to 5 pieces worldwide. Price: 195,000 Swiss francs.
Laurent Ferrier will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the founding of his brand in 2025. To commemorate this occasion, he announced this watch as a homage to the Classic Tourbillon, saying that he was "returning to the origins of his watchmaking."
One of its features is the use of platinum as a material, which is a first for Laurent Ferrier. Like the previous "Classic" models, the 41mm diameter case has a smooth, pebble-like shape, and it also features a ball-shaped crown that adds an accent to the collection. These elements are made of shining white platinum, creating an elegant look.

Another distinctive feature is that, while it still features the classic tourbillon-style grand feu enamel dial, Roman numeral indices, and a railway-style minute track, the dial is made of white gold and features a teal color that blends green and blue. To accentuate this blue, the minute track and logo are made of sky blue enamel with a transfer finish.
The small seconds at 6 o'clock is minimalist yet eye-catching. In typical Laurent Ferrier style, a carefully hand-beveled white gold flange frames the stepped subdial. The scale of the small seconds is also finished in sky blue enamel. For enhanced legibility, the Roman numerals that mark the hours are outlined in bright white enamel.
The assegai-style hour and minute hands and baton-style second hand are made of gold, and are an important element that adds originality to the minimalist style of this watch.

The movement used is the hand-wound Cal. LF619.01, the same as the previous Classic Tourbillon. This Classic Tourbillon won the Men's Watch Award at the 2010 Geneva Grand Prix for Watchmaking (GPHG). To maintain its classic, minimalist style, the tourbillon is located on the case back. The tourbillon's two balance springs are positioned opposite each other, which is not only visually unique but also serves to neutralize the horizontal displacement of the balance's center of gravity and maintain high precision. With a power reserve of approximately 80 hours, this movement is truly practical.

The transparent case back allows the movement to be viewed. The classic tourbillon's characteristic bridges, adorned with Côtes de Genève, have been replaced in this model with a horizontal satin finish combined with ruthenium plating. While the movement is inspired by high-precision timepieces from the 19th century, the new finish lends it a modern design. The contrast with the lustrous rhodium-plated gears and balance wheel is a highlight.
In addition to the aesthetic appeal of this movement, the introduction of a manual winding system with a long blade ratchet mechanism, similar to that found in pocket watches, provides a pleasant feeling of winding the mainspring. This movement is both practical and appealing.
The newly announced "Classic Tourbillon Teal - Cellier Atelier VII" is available on Laurent Ferrier's official website (URL:https://laurentferrier.ch/products/classic-tourbillon-teal) and only five bottles will be sold.
