Favre-Leuba will be relaunching in Japan in February 2025. The company, which is renowned for its watches that incorporate modern designs and specifications based on its historical archives, announced three new "Chief" collections at the Geneva Watch Days in Switzerland.

"Chief Date Royal Purple"
Favre-Leuba's Chief Date now comes in a new color variation: the Chief Date Royal Purple. The vibrant royal purple dial features the brand's signature hourglass motif arranged in a pattern, and the sunburst finish adds depth and three-dimensionality. A date display is located at the 3 o'clock position for practicality. The indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for improved visibility in dark places.

The 40mm diameter stainless steel case is a voluminous cushion shape, with a design that blends graceful curves with sharp edges. With a case thickness of less than 11mm, it fits easily under a cuff.
The watch features a see-through case back, allowing visitors to view the Cal. FLD03 automatic movement, jointly developed with La Joux-Perret. Its aesthetic appeal is also emphasized, with a gold-colored rotor and bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève.
The watch is available with a stainless steel bracelet or a purple FKM rubber strap, both of which are interchangeable and can be easily attached or detached from the case with a single touch.
"Chief Chronograph"
The Chief Chronograph, released in 2024, is available in a British Racing Green dial model and a Dune dial model. This model is a classic two-counter chronograph with a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a small seconds hand at 9 o'clock.

The British Racing Green dial model has a cream-colored inset dial and minute circle, creating a sharp design, while the Dune dial model has the same tone, creating a unified color scheme.
The powerful cushion-shaped case is inspired by the chronograph watches that the company released in the 1970s, and is fitted with wide push buttons and a large crown for easy operation.
The movement is the Cal. FLC02, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret. The column wheel and balance wheel movements, as well as decorations such as Côtes de Genève and circular graining, can be viewed through the see-through case back.
The strap is available in either a stainless steel bracelet or an FKM rubber strap.
"Chief Skeleton"
The new Chief Skeleton is Favre-Leuba's first skeleton watch, with a wide-open dial revealing the movement, finished in gold or black DLC, and revealing the precision of the interlocking gears, beating balance wheel, and mainspring.

The 40mm diameter case shares a common design with the Chief collection. It features a retro-futuristic cushion shape and a clean, bezel-less form. The movement can be viewed not only from the dial side but also through the see-through back. The movement, which combines snailed, satin-finished, and sandblasted finishes, can be enjoyed from various angles.
