Jacob & Co. Dual Time Watch: Collaboration with Mad Paris to Reimagine the Night World

　The gates of a once closed world have reopened. A restrained desire for adventure has led to increased traffic. Jacob & Co.'s "The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone" responds to this feeling.

　This new model, created in collaboration with the French design studio Mad Paris, completely reimagines the worldview of the previous model, from an ocean voyage to a pitch-black night flight. The black titanium dial features a laser-engraved world map, with Super-LumiNova dots around cities. In the dark, an image of the Earth at night emerges, as if viewed from high orbit in outer space, and the curves of the dial and the domed crystal glass accentuate this spherical feel.

　In the center of the dial, a second hand resembling an airplane engine turbine rotates, and above and below it are two time displays, indicating "HOME" and "AWAY." The indexes are coated with luminous paint, making them easy to read even in the dark.

　Mad Paris has previously customized iconic models from watch brands in black and presented them as art pieces. This time, they proposed a project focusing on The World Is Yours, which Jacob & Co. accepted. The brand has previously collaborated with renowned artists such as G-Dragon and Alec Monopoly, and this latest venture is in line with that tradition.

　The World Is Yours will be released in 2023. It is a classic model with a rose gold case and blue dial, inspired by the watch that founder Jacob Arabo received as a gift from his father when he was 13 years old. In 25, new models with a black dial and a blue dial with silver tones will be added. The company is particular about changing the dial finish for each model.
