Almost the same age as Fuku Suzuki! He's been active in the entertainment industry since he was 1 year old!
Fuku Suzuki made his debut in the entertainment industry at just one year old. His appearance on an NHK educational program marked the beginning of a long career. The following year, he played Hideaki Takizawa's son in the drama "The Summer You Gave Me: If You Do Your Best, You'll Be Happy," marking his entry into the world of drama as a child actor.
Then, in 2011, Suzuki's big break came when he starred alongside Mana Ashida in the drama "Marumo no Okite," playing the younger brother of a pair of twin siblings. Just six years old at the time, Suzuki made his debut as a singer with the theme song for the drama, "Maru Maru Mori Mori!", and appeared in the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen that same year. At seven years and 199 days old, he set a new record as the youngest performer in the White Team.
Suzuki's glamorous career as a child actor is memorable, but his subsequent career has also been stellar. He appeared on popular variety shows such as "Be Ponkickies" and "Morita Kazuyoshi Hour Waratte Iitomo!", and steadily expanded the scope of his activities as he grew older. After graduating from junior high school, he was invited to appear as a commentator on "The Truth Report Bankisha!", demonstrating his talents in areas other than acting.
Introducing the Baby-G that was a gift from my father on my blog!
It was in 2015 that Suzuki Fuku first publicly revealed his interest in watches. In an article titled "My Important Things" posted on his official blog, "Laughing Mon ni Fuku Blog," he introduced the Baby-G watch that his father had given him. In the blog post, posted on August 31, he wrote, "I even wear it when I sleep," bringing to mind a heartwarming image of him.
Even more noteworthy is the sentence at the end of the article: "Watches are so cool, I'd like to learn about how they work someday." This shows that a fascination with watches had begun to grow in the heart of the 11-year-old boy at the time.

The BA-110-1AJF is a model that follows the design of G-SHOCK's popular GA-110 model while being smaller and thinner. The graphical design, which combines dial and index parts in a complex manner, looked great on Suzuki's wrist, who was 11 years old at the time. Suzuki has publicly declared his love for special effects action films such as Kamen Rider, so the distinctive design reminiscent of the items worn by special effects heroes must have appealed to him.
Fast forward to when he entered junior high school. In a blog post dated April 11, 2017, he wrote, "I'm happy that I can bring a watch to school." Seeing the boy's genuine joy at being allowed to wear a wristwatch conveys the depth of his feelings about watches from a young age.
Have you been using the Grand Seiko "SBGX261" recently?
The boy who spoke of his admiration for watches has grown into a young man. Now, he can be seen wearing luxury watches on social media. Suzuki's choice appears to be the Grand Seiko SBGX261. This is the model he actually wore on the Nippon Television variety show "Meshidora: Kanechika & Shinnosuke's Gourmet Drive."
The show features EXIT's Kanechika Daiki and Mitsushima Shinnosuke going on unscripted, unprepared drives in search of delicious food. In the episode in which Suzuki appeared as a guest, he toured Wako City with fellow child actor Hamada Tatsuomi. In an image posted on the show's official Instagram, Suzuki can be seen wearing a Grand Seiko SBGX261 on his right wrist.

Quartz (Cal. 9F62). Accuracy ±10 seconds per year. Stainless steel case (diameter 37mm, thickness 10.0mm). Water resistant for everyday use (10 bar). 308,000 yen (tax included). (Inquiries) Seiko Watch Customer Service (Grand Seiko) Tel. 0120-302-617
The 37mm case diameter is modest for a modern watch. However, this makes it a versatile model that can be worn with anything from casual styles to suits. This model belongs to Grand Seiko's Heritage Collection and is characterized by a refined design with minimal ornamentation.
For Suzuki, who has been active in the entertainment industry since childhood and has experienced a variety of different situations, this is a watch that he can rely on for any occasion. Combining practicality and elegance, this model is a perfect symbol of his first steps into adulthood.
Sinn, a German watch with a sophisticated look, has been added to the collection!
Another side of Suzuki Fuku is that he is an avid fan of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Suzuki, who started playing baseball in elementary school and joined the baseball club in junior high school, does not hide his love for the Carp. In fact, it was through the Carp that he discovered the charm of the city of Hiroshima and his feelings for Hiroshima deepened.
In a post on his official Instagram account in which he expresses his passionate feelings for Hiroshima, Suzuki is seen holding a Sinn EZM3.F.

Automatic winding (Cal. SW200-1). 26 jewels. 28,800 vibrations per hour. Power reserve approximately 38 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 41mm, thickness 11.7mm). Water resistant to 20 bar. 550,000 yen (tax included). (Inquiries) Hotta Co., Ltd. Tel. 03-5148-2174
The EZM3.F is an evolution of the EZM3, originally designed as a diver's watch, into a pilot's watch. Instead of limiting water resistance to 20 bar, the case is a practical 11.7mm thick and features a bidirectional rotating bezel with a countdown timer.
German watch brand Sinn pursues legibility and durability above all else, and this model is no exception. It features an incredible anti-magnetic performance of 8 A/m, a dehumidification mechanism using dry technology, and Sinn's special oil, ensuring accuracy even in extreme environments ranging from -45°C to +80°C.
What's interesting is the crown, which is located at 9 o'clock. The crown, which is usually located at 3 o'clock, has been placed on the opposite side, improving operability and reducing the risk of it getting caught on heavy weaponry, a consideration for the watch's professional status. And since Suzuki Fuku is left-handed, this distinctive placement is a logical choice for him. The essence of German watches, which emphasize functionality, perfectly matches Suzuki's personality.
Recently, Suzuki Fuku has appeared in popular films such as "Body Search: The Last Night." As a child, he treasured the Casio watch his father gave him, even to the point of never taking it off when he went to sleep. When he entered junior high school, he honestly expressed his joy by saying, "I'm happy that I can take my watch to school." Now, he has grown to the point where he wears authentic watches such as Grand Seiko and Sinn. The change in his watch preferences seems to directly reflect the growth of Suzuki Fuku as an actor.
From a child actor known throughout Japan to a fully-fledged actor with solid acting skills, Suzuki Fuku's journey as he continues to grow in depth as an artist, along with his love for watches, will be one to watch in the future.
