Hamilton has plenty of noteworthy models for 2025
This issue's feature introduces five noteworthy models from Hamilton's 2025 releases that I personally found desirable. Hamilton's diverse lineup is typical of the brand, and there are many appealing new models. Furthermore, the selected models come in a wide variety of colors, case sizes, straps, and bracelets. We hope this feature will inspire you to visit a watch shop and choose the perfect watch for you.
Hamilton "Khaki Field Mechanical" Ref.H69509930

Manual winding (Cal. H-23). 17 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 40mm, thickness 11.95mm). Water resistant to 10 bar. Price: 149,600 yen (tax included).
The first to take note is the new addition to the Khaki Field Mecha Power Reserve, a classic field watch. This model employs the traditional hand-wound movement of the Khaki Field Mecha, while adding a power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock.
The design, with its Arabic numeral indexes and the 13:00 to 24:00 hour indications, as well as syringe-style hour and minute hands with sharpened tips for improved visibility, evokes the lineage of military watches. The power reserve indicator is positioned toward the center of the dial so as not to interfere with timekeeping. The power reserve indicator displays the status with red letters "F (full)" and "E (empty)," reminiscent of the fuel gauges found on classic cross-country cars. The triangular marks on each hand and index are coated with old radium-colored Super-LumiNova, adding a touch of classic charm.
The newly developed manual winding movement, Cal. H-23, will debut with this model. This movement is designed to prevent the crown from getting stuck when fully wound, reducing the strain on the movement caused by overwinding while also improving ease of operation, making it a safe choice for users who have never owned a manual winding movement before.
In addition to the black dial and green NATO strap combination introduced here, there is also a white dial and a three-row stainless steel bracelet version, for a total of four variations. This is a classic variation based on the previous model, and if you're interested in the Khaki Field, this is a watch you should definitely consider.
"Khaki Navy Scuba Auto GMT" Ref.H82565930

Automatic movement (Cal. H-14). 25 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Bronze case (diameter 43mm, thickness 13.9mm). Water resistant to 30 bar. Price: 247,500 yen (tax included).
Next up is the Khaki Navy Scuba Auto GMT. The concept is a watch for adventures aimed at sailors, and it features a GMT display function in a package that is water resistant to 30 bar, making it safe for use in harsh environments.
The model featured here has a bronze case, bronze-colored hands and indexes that complement the warm color tone of bronze, and a NATO strap with brown lines. This coordination highlights the charm of the bronze, which is a characteristic of this watch, and is the reason for its selection.
The 24-hour unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a ceramic insert, and the natural luster of the material adds a touch of luxury. The black dial has a slightly roughened finish that prevents reflective reflections and ensures readability, while also creating a contrast with the luster of the bezel.
The automatic movement, Cal. H-14, has a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. This is an attractive specification by modern standards, making it a welcome travel watch for long voyages and other occasions. Of course, it also provides peace of mind for daily use.
In addition to the bronze model, the lineup also includes a white dial with a stainless steel case and bracelet.
Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer, Ref. H76255810

Automatic movement (Cal. H-10). 25 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 38mm, thickness 11.4mm). Water resistant to 10 bar. Price: 139,700 yen (tax included).
Next, we'll introduce a new colorway for the Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer. The Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer is inspired by the Model 23, a cutting-edge pocket watch used by the U.S. military during World War II. Previously, the lineup featured a black dial reminiscent of vintage military watches, combined with old radium-colored Super-LumiNova, ivory Arabic numerals, and a railway minute track.
The new model we are introducing retains the basic design, but features a color coordination of an eggshell white dial, a moss green bezel, and a leather strap in the same color as the bezel. When you think of military green, olive drab comes to mind, but this is an even stronger shade of green. However, by not increasing the saturation too much and using a subdued color that evokes a slightly burnt look, it is interesting to note that it keeps the modern feel to a minimum while retaining a vintage taste.
The cobra-shaped hour hand and syringe-shaped minute hand both have a vintage feel, and the simple dial design makes them highly legible. The large, diamond-shaped crown makes them easy to operate even when wearing gloves, further evoking the watch's heritage as a pilot's watch. The case diameter of 38mm is relatively compact by modern standards, further evoking the vintage model.
In this way, the overall packaging and details are based on a vintage military style, but the way they balance it out to avoid leaning too much towards modernity shows Hamilton's skill. This is the reason why we selected this watch.
Khaki Aviation Pioneer Mechanical Chrono, Ref. H76409140

Manual winding (Cal. H-51-Si). 25 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 60 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 40mm, thickness 14.35mm). Water resistant to 10 bar. Price: 311,300 yen (tax included).
A new model has also been added to the Khaki Aviation Pioneer Mechanical Chrono, which reflects Hamilton's track record of supplying military services. The Khaki Aviation Pioneer Mechanical Chrono is a chronograph model based on a model supplied to the Royal Air Force in the 1970s. Its eye-catching case silhouette, featuring an asymmetrical crown guard, and its iconic "two-eye" dial are its defining features.
Until now, the lineup has featured models with a strong vintage feel, featuring black dials similar to the original, and these have been popular. A new addition to the lineup is a blue dial model. The subdued blue dial gives a chic impression, and is combined with various white hands, luminous paint, and markings, giving it a modern feel. Furthermore, the featured model now features a Milanese bracelet, adding a dressy touch. The author found this combination intriguing, and chose this model.
The movement, Cal. H-51-Si, is a hand-wound movement, just like the original model. It also boasts a power reserve of approximately 60 hours and features a silicon balance spring for anti-magnetic properties. The appeal of this watch is that it allows you to enjoy the vintage-style hand-wound watch with modern practicality.
Hamilton "Jazzmaster Open Heart Auto" Ref.H32215142

Automatic movement (Cal. H-10). 25 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 36mm, thickness 10mm). Water resistant to 5 bar. Price: 139,700 yen (tax included).
The last model we'll introduce is the newest addition to the popular and classic "Jazzmaster Open Heart Auto." The Jazzmaster collection features models with an urban image, based on a classical and conservative style. It also features a wide variety of dial colors and models with openwork details. A peek into the showcases at the Hamilton boutique reveals the colorful and diverse designs of the Jazzmaster, making it clear that this is a popular collection. With this in mind, we've selected some noteworthy models.
The new Ref. H32215142 is an eye-catching model with a navy blue dial studded with golden sparkles inspired by aventurine. The theme is a fusion of the modernity of urban design and a dial that expresses the infinite universe. Previous models in the Jazzmaster collection have used a variety of expressions, such as sunray finishes and gradient colors, but it seems that a model with such sparkle as this one has not been seen, at least in recent years. In harmony with the sparkle of the dial, gold-colored hands and indexes are used, and the gear train and balance wheel visible through the dial are also gold-colored. The rhythmically moving balance wheel evokes the dynamic universe.
The model we picked out is one that combines a compact 36mm diameter case with a bracelet. The finished watch is just 10mm thick, creating an elegant look while also contributing to a comfortable fit. A navy strap that matches the dial color is also available. Additionally, a 42mm diameter, 11.44mm thick case is available with either a bracelet or strap, allowing for a wide range of users to choose from to suit their diverse needs. This shows just how popular the Jazzmaster is, and how Hamilton is developing projects to meet these needs.
