Now, however, things have quietly changed. The Oyster Perpetual 41 has finally arrived in candy pink. The candy pink dial is created through a laborious process. First, six layers of colored lacquer are evenly applied to a brass base, and then a transparent protective layer is applied on top to add depth and luster. The surface is then meticulously polished, and the inscription, indexes, and crown are riveted by hand. The resulting color surface exudes uniformity and a sense of life, emanating a unique presence.
Robustness thanks to Oystersteel
The iconic 41mm Oyster case is crafted from Oystersteel, a special corrosion-resistant steel alloy from the 904L family. Rolex uses this material to retain its brilliance and durability, even in extreme environments. The screw-down case back, Twinlock crown, and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal ensure water resistance to 100 metres.
