In 2025, new color variations were added to Orient's popular Bambino collection. One is a three-hand model with a center second hand, and the other is a model with the "Sun and Moon" mechanism. Both watches feature subdued colors that perfectly match a classic look. Let's take a look back at the watches released in 2025.

Orient's new color Bambino for 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of its founding
Orient's origins date back to Yoshida Watch Shop, which was founded in Tokyo in 1901. Initially, the company was involved in the import, sale and wholesale of watches, but in 1912 it began manufacturing gold cases and in 1934 began manufacturing wristwatches.
Despite facing difficulties in 1949 when a factory fire occurred, the company resumed operations in 1950 and changed its name to "Orient Watch Co., Ltd." Later, the "Orient Star" line, still known as the brand's iconic line today, was born. The company's commitment to providing high-quality watches at affordable prices, equipped with in-house automatic movements, remains strong even now, after becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Seiko Epson Corporation in 2009.

Orient's Bambino collection embodies the spirit of classic watchmaking with a touch of retro charm. Its classic design features a domed bombe dial, a box-shaped crystal, a delicately finished case, and slender lugs.
The 2025 model is available in three colors: green, navy, and beige, all with a sunburst finish. Each dial is designed to complement the rose gold-tone or silver indices and hands.
Let's take a look at the dials of these watches. The indices are Roman numerals, and the scales are marked with ruler-like lines, with divisions smaller than the seconds.
The dial colors are all subdued, with some being slightly darker, including beige. This watch is perfect for a classic and chic look.
New colors for the Sun and Moon display model

Automatic movement (Cal. F6B24). 22 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 40 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 41.5 mm, thickness 14.2 mm). Water resistant to 3 bar. Price: 47,300 yen (tax included).
In addition to the new colors, a new Bordeaux model has been released for the Sun and Moon display, in which the sun and moon discs rotate once every 24 hours. The asymmetrically positioned day of the week window creates an original design, highlighting the exquisite balance between traditional design and innovative details.
