Top 5 Breitling Women's Models
Breitling is known for its sports models such as chronographs and divers' watches. When you think of their signature models, the Navitimer and Chronomat, you think of sturdy men's watches with large cases.
However, in recent years, the company has also been focusing on ladies' models, and the Navitimer and Chronomat have a lineup of compact models that have eliminated the chronograph function but still retain the iconic design. It is still fresh in our memory that a ladies' model was added to the "Premier" series in 2025.
Breitling is gaining a wider fan base. What women's models are currently popular?
5th place: Lady Premier Automatic 36, Ref. A10310121Q1P1

This ladies' Premier watch is a new release for 2025. The rounded case lines create an elegant impression. Automatic movement (Cal. 10). 25 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 42 hours. This ladies' model joins the current collection of the elegant Premier, which was introduced in the 1940s. Unlike the men's model that preceded it, it features a rounded, plump design with short, protruding lugs and a disc-like middle case.
Among the wide range of dial colors available, including blue, black, and green, the model chosen was one with a gorgeous purple dial. The slender Arabic numerals and bar indexes give it a casual feel, while the alpha-shaped hour and minute hands create a sharp impression. Another distinctive feature is the symmetrical layout, as it is a non-date model.
The case is made of stainless steel. At 36mm in diameter, it's a size that's not uncommon even for women today. The case back is screwed down, and the watch is water resistant to 10 bar, sufficient for everyday use. It comes with an alligator leather strap in the same color as the dial.
The movement is the automatic mechanical Cal. 10. It is a highly reliable movement tuned by Breitling based on a general-purpose movement.
4th Place: Chronomat 28, Ref. A72310101C1A1

This model features a mother-of-pearl dial with diamond indexes, giving it a jewel-like sparkle. It's equipped with a highly accurate quartz movement (Cal. 72). Stainless steel case (28mm diameter, 8.46mm thick). Water resistant to 10 bar. Price: 594,000 yen (tax included).
Originally developed as a pilot's chronograph, the Breitling Chronomat is now positioned as a multi-purpose watch. The model introduced here is a simple three-hand model.
The dial is made of pale blue mother-of-pearl. The 12 sparkling indexes are lab-grown diamonds. Combined with the polished bezel, you can enjoy the sparkle of jewelry. While most Chronomat watches have rotating bezels, this model uses a fixed type.
The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. It features a classic design, including an onion-shaped crown. The Rouleaux bracelet, a hallmark of the Chronomat, has a structure resembling a connected tube, providing a flexible fit.
The movement is quartz. Breitling is committed to 100% chronometer certification, and this includes quartz movements. It is equipped with a high-spec movement equipped with a temperature compensation mechanism.
3rd Place: Navitimer 32, Ref. A77320E61A2A1

This is a ladies' model of Breitling's masterpiece, the Navitimer. It inherits the iconic design while being dressy. Quartz movement (Cal. 77). Stainless steel case (32mm diameter, 8mm thick). Water resistant to 5 bar. Price: 594,000 yen (tax included).
Breitling's popular collection, rivaling the Chronomat, is the Navitimer. The Navitimer is a collection with a history of over 70 years, which began as a pilot's chronograph equipped with a circular slide rule for aviation. Today, the lineup also includes three-hand models without chronograph functions and GMT models.
Coming in third place is a model with a 32mm stainless steel case and a white mother-of-pearl dial. The indexes are set with diamonds. Mother-of-pearl is a natural material, so each piece will have its own unique sparkle. The bezel features the same beaded decorations seen on the original model. This model's bezel does not rotate, and the slide rule has been removed.
The case features the slender lugs typical of the Navitimer. The seven-piece bracelet, which alternates between polished and hairline finishes, is the pilot's bracelet that is the symbol of the Navitimer. The watch features a double-opening buckle, which is designed to be inconspicuous when closed.
2nd Place: Superocean Automatic 36, Ref. A17377211A1S1

A small 36mm diameter diver's watch. Despite its sporty design, the all-white exterior exudes elegance. Automatic (Cal. 17). 26 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Stainless steel case (36mm diameter, 12.21mm thick). Water resistant to 300m. Price: 638,000 yen (tax included).
This is a compact 36mm case model of Breitling's Superocean diver's watch. Its all-white coloring is a dazzling piece. A 42mm all-white case model is also available exclusively in Japan, making the two watches perfect for a pair.
The white dial offers the high visibility you expect from a diver's watch. The design is based on the Superocean Slow Motion, released in the 1960s. Its resemblance can be seen in the square pointer attached to the minute hand. The bezel, fitted with a ceramic insert, is equipped with a unidirectional rotating mechanism, allowing the elapsed time during a dive to be measured.
The stainless steel case has a brushed finish, giving it the look of a sports watch, and is fitted with a white rubber strap with a fabric-like pattern.
The movement is the mechanical automatic Cal. 17, which is based on a general-purpose movement used by many famous brands and has been adjusted by Breitling.
1st Place: Chronomat 28 Japan Edition, Ref. A72310101B1A1

This black mother-of-pearl dial model is available exclusively in Japan. It features a high-performance quartz movement (Cal. 72). It has a stainless steel case (28mm diameter, 8.46mm thick). Coming in at number 4 is the Japan-exclusive model of the Chronomat 28. It features a black mother-of-pearl dial and lab-grown diamond indexes. Breitling releases many Japan-exclusive models every year, many of which feature mother-of-pearl dials. The fact that multiple models with mother-of-pearl dials are featured in this ranking shows how well the company understands the tastes of the Japanese market.
This model follows the characteristics of the Chronomat, such as a case with a fixed bezel and short lugs, an onion-shaped crown, etc., but has been given a design that has been revised for a ladies' model. The Rouleaux bracelet, which has an appealing smooth feel, is equipped with a double-opening buckle that opens and closes with a push button, making it easy to put on and take off.
