Awakening memories of watchmaking
The prestigious Tiffany & Co. demonstrates its pride in "time."

Founded in 1837 in New York City, Tiffany & Co. is one of the world's leading and most prestigious jewelers. Beyond jewelry, they offer a wide range of products including tableware, perfumes, and leather goods, and have been involved in watchmaking since their early days in 1847. The new "Tiffany Timer" brings that history back into the modern era.

The motif for this work is the "Tiffany Timing Watch," a chronograph pocket watch released in 1866. This pocket watch, which was created to meet the need for time measurement accompanying the development of science and sports culture, is an important milestone in the company's journey from a watch retailer to a manufacturer.

The dial of the Tiffany Timer is adorned with the company's signature Tiffany Blue, and multiple layers of clear lacquer create a deep luster that captivates the viewer. The baguette-cut diamond indices and the crown, featuring the Tiffany® setting design, offer a glimpse into the pride of this prestigious jeweler. The elegantly flowing case is crafted from platinum, requiring highly advanced processing techniques.

El Primero

Visible through the case back is the Zenith El Primero movement. The 18K yellow gold bird adorning the rotor is a symbolic design from the "Bird on a Rock" brooch, designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in 1965. It has been hand-engraved and polished, resulting in a richly expressive finish.

Through the sapphire crystal case back, you can see Zenith's El Primero automatic chronograph movement. Its high beat rate of 10 vibrations per second, which enables precise timekeeping, reflects Tiffany's commitment to accuracy in timekeeping, a principle that has been central to the brand since its inception. Shining on the rotor is the bird from the "Bird on a Rock" brooch designed by Jean Schlumberger.

Born 160 years after its origins, the Tiffany Timer is a masterpiece that will undoubtedly leave its mark on history as a symbol of the company's watchmaking.
