2026.04.14

This article summarizes the new Bulgari watches unveiled at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026. The "Octo Finissimo," which continues to evolve as an ultra-thin watch, now has a new 37mm diameter size, and the "Serpenti Tubogas" has been updated with a "combination" model featuring industrial studs, among other exciting developments this year.

Featuring a new movement, the Octo Finissimo now comes in a new 37mm diameter size.

A new model of the "Octo Finissimo" has been unveiled, featuring a smaller case diameter of 37mm. While retaining the geometric octagonal shape inspired by ancient Roman architecture and its unified appearance, the proportions have been refined to meet a wider range of needs.

The variations include two models using titanium, the collection's signature material, as well as an elegant 18K yellow gold option. All models feature a bracelet optimized for the compact case, seamlessly attached with screws. Furthermore, the titanium models have a weight reduced to approximately 65g after assembly, and combined with their small size, they offer even better wearability.

The two titanium models differ in their exterior surface finishes; one features a sandblasted finish, while the other is primarily finished with a satin polish. The former has black hands and indices, giving it a more refined look.

The watch is equipped with the Cal.BVF100, a micro-rotor movement that was developed and tested over approximately three years. While keeping the size down to a diameter of 31mm and a thickness of just 2.35mm, it achieves a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, which is half a day longer than the Cal.BVL138 used in the 40mm diameter Octo Finissimo. In terms of dimensions, although the thickness has increased by only 0.12mm, the overall volume of the movement has been reduced by approximately 20%.

The bridges and mainplate visible through the transparent case back are adorned with Côtes de Genève decoration radiating from the balance wheel. Octagonal screws, which harmonize with the case's form, can also be seen here.

"Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater"

Manual winding (Cal. BVL362). 21,600 vibrations per hour. Power reserve approximately 72 hours. Titanium case (37mm diameter). 30m water resistance. Price upon inquiry.

This new, compact "Octo Finissimo" also features a complication incorporating a minute repeater, a complex mechanism.

The watch is equipped with the in-house Cal.BVL362 movement. What is particularly noteworthy about this movement is that, despite its slim profile of just 3.12mm thick, it not only boasts a power reserve of approximately 72 hours but also incorporates a minute repeater with two hammers. This function is operated by a push button at the 9 o'clock position on the case, and the gong is struck a number of times corresponding to the current time.

The dial is made of opaline titanium, and the intricate mechanism of the movement is revealed by hollowing out the outer edges of the indices and small seconds. Furthermore, these openings also function as a detail to amplify the sound of the gong.

The case and bracelet are made of titanium and have been sandblasted to give them a modern look. Incidentally, titanium is not only iconic, but it also has the characteristic of easily producing a clear sound, making it a material that is well-suited to minute repeaters.

"Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon Platinum"

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon Platinum Ref. 104344

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon Platinum Ref. 104344
Platinum is known as a material that requires advanced techniques to shape due to its high density. Therefore, the meticulously polished exterior of this piece, while maintaining its astonishing thinness, also showcases the brand's exceptional craftsmanship as a jeweler. Manual winding (Cal. BVF900). 28,800 vibrations per hour. Power reserve of approximately 42 hours. Platinum case (40mm diameter, 1.85mm thickness). Limited edition of 10 pieces worldwide. Price upon inquiry.

The Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon, which set the record for the world's thinnest tourbillon watch in 2025, and also won an award at the Geneva Watch Grand Prix that same year, is now available in a special limited edition of only 10 pieces worldwide.

While the previous Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon used titanium for its exterior, this model employs high-purity platinum for both the case and the integrated bracelet. This results in an ultra-thin design combined with an exclusive sense of luxury. In addition, the movement's main plate is galvanically treated, and the hands are PVD coated in blue, creating a striking contrast compared to the previous model's monochrome appearance.

The movement continues to employ the Cal.BVF900, which features a flying tourbillon. Its main plate is made of tungsten carbide, an ultra-hard material, ensuring practical rigidity despite its thinness of 1.85mm. Another distinctive feature of this model is the deliberate use of a coaxial arrangement of the hour and minute hands, which tends to increase thickness, unlike previous "Ultra" models.

Four new models have been added to the iconic "Serpenti Tubogas" bracelet watch line, as part of the "Serpenti Tubogas Studs Capsule" series, which features dials made from natural materials.

The new series takes the combination of gold and stainless steel, a bold experiment by the brand in the 1970s, as its design theme. Furthermore, the evenly spaced pyramid-shaped studs on the bracelets emphasize the collection's industrial side, creating an avant-garde, object-like design.

Bvlgari "Serpenti Tubogas Stud Capsule"

The distinctive Tubogas bracelet is formed by a long band of gold or stainless steel encasing a steel core. Rooted in the original Tubogas bracelet, this resilient coil structure was one of Bulgari's signature creations in the 1970s.

The dial comes in four different materials: white mother-of-pearl, carnelian, sodalite, and malachite, each with a unique texture and color. The bezel, studs, and hour and minute hands of each model are made of yellow or pink gold, and diamonds are set in the bezel, adding a touch of glamour to the overall look.

Among them, the carnelian dial model is an even more luxurious option, with its exterior entirely made of 18K yellow gold and each stud adorned with 12 brilliant-cut diamonds.

In the sodalite model, the combination of two materials extends to the bracelet as well. Each stud on this model is also adorned with a diamond.

Additionally, jewelry from "Serpenti Tubogas" and "B.zero1" that share the avant-garde design codes of this series have been announced simultaneously.

Quartz movement. 18K rose gold case (24mm width). Price upon inquiry.

As a new addition to the "Serpenti Eterna" collection, which debuted in 2025, a supreme high jewelry watch featuring a pavé setting of colorful gemstones was unveiled.

The Serpenti Eterna collection offers a bolder reinterpretation of Bulgari's signature serpenti motif. Instead of direct representations such as a drop-shaped case resembling a snake's head, it expresses the mystique and vitality of the snake through elegant curves and diamond embellishments.

The new collection is based on an 18K pink gold bangle integrated with a watch. Its surface is meticulously set with 122 rare gemstones, including rubellite, amethyst, and emerald, giving the flowing form an avant-garde yet precious sparkle.

Furthermore, the inside of the bangle features a series of scale-shaped openwork designs, which act as a detail that captures light and enhances the sparkle of the colored stones.

While a wide variety of gemstones in different colors and sizes are scattered throughout, the collection's unique silhouette is also emphasized by the orderly arrangement of diamonds that conform to the shape of the bracelet.

This vibrant gem setting required an enormous amount of effort, with approximately 185 hours spent on selection and 60 hours on setting.

The watch face features a heart-shaped dial with small blue hour and minute hands that precisely display the time. This dial is also adorned with pavé diamonds, demonstrating a meticulous pursuit of brilliance. Furthermore, the crown is set with diamonds, and its head is adorned with a blue spinel.

Quartz movement. 18K yellow gold case (24mm width). 10,186,000 yen (tax included).

In contrast to the colorful, high-jewelry versions, this piece emphasizes the sun-like brilliance emanating from its polished 18K yellow gold. Compared to previous models, the diamond setting is more restrained, with decorations only appearing at the ends of the bracelet and along the silhouette that wraps around the wrist.

Bvlgari "Serpenti Eterna" Ref. 104341 / Ref. 104352

The dial features mother-of-pearl, whose organic, iridescent shimmer harmonizes beautifully with the pure sparkle of the diamonds.

The elegant curves of this bangle bracelet contribute to a comfortable fit on the wrist, making it a desirable accessory for everyday wear. Furthermore, the design, primarily featuring yellow gold, would complement other Serpenti jewelry pieces.
