Automatic movement (Cal.1847 MC). Stainless steel case (47.2mm x 38.7mm, 10.06mm thick). 10 ATM water resistance. Estimated price: 1,544,400 yen (including tax). Scheduled for release in October.

The Cartier Roadster, which debuted in 2002, has made a long-awaited comeback. It comes in two case sizes: large and medium. The large model measures 47.2mm vertically and 38.7mm horizontally, offering a comfortable and substantial presence.

The basic design, including the streamlined tonneau-shaped case and the continuous design from the crown to the bezel and convex lens, is inherited from the original "Roadster." While previous models had screws at the ends of the lugs, this model eliminates them and adds rivets to the four corners of the bezel, resulting in a more refined look. The case material is available in stainless steel, 18K yellow gold, and a combination of stainless steel and 18K yellow gold. In addition to a metal bracelet, a rubber strap or leather strap is included, and the familiar "QuickSwitch" interchangeable system allows for easy attachment and detachment from the case.

Three new models have been added to the Santos-Dumont collection, which most strongly retains the characteristics of the original Santos, developed for Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. All models feature a large case measuring 43.5mm vertically and 31.4mm horizontally, and are equipped with the in-house hand-wound Cal.430 MC movement.

The most distinctive feature of the new model is the adoption of a newly developed metal bracelet. The 15-link bracelet, which offers a flexible and comfortable fit, is inspired by a bracelet that the company developed as a special order in the 1920s, and is made by combining a total of 394 thin links, each 1.15 mm thick.

With a thickness of just 0.3mm, the company's jewelers' skills are fully showcased in its processing.

The remaining two models are a glamorous one with an 18K yellow gold case and bracelet combined with a satin-finished silver dial, and another with a platinum case and bracelet combined with a satin-finished silver dial.

The Tortue monopusher chronograph, which attracted attention at the 2024 Cartier Privé collection, returns with a new design. The case is made of platinum. A crown that also serves as a chronograph push button is located at the 3 o'clock position. It is paired with a semi-matte Bordeaux alligator leather strap that harmonizes with the dial's color.

The movement, like that of the 2024 model, is the hand-wound Cal.1928 MC. The movement is designed with aesthetics in mind, such as its shape matching the distinctive case lines of the Tortue, and the symmetrical arrangement of levers and gears.
