The eye-catching venue, adorned in Breitling's signature yellow, features special items, including a timeline reviewing the history of Top Time and Kamen Rider.

In March 2026, Breitling released the "Top Time B01 Racing Kamen Rider Limited." Based on the Top Time racing chronograph that Breitling introduced in the 1960s, this model is a Japan-exclusive edition that commemorates the 55th anniversary of the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider," which began airing on April 3, 1971, based on the original work by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei, and incorporates design elements from the series throughout.

To coincide with the announcement of this new timepiece, Breitling will be holding a pop-up shop at The Stage on the 1st floor of the main building of Ginza Mitsukoshi in Tokyo from Wednesday, April 8th to Tuesday, April 14th, 2026. At the media presentation held on the first day, Hiroshi Fujioka, who played the main character Takeshi Hongo in the 1971 TV series, and his son, Maito Fujioka, who played Takeshi Hongo in the movie "Kamen Rider Beyond Generations" released in December 2021, took the stage. The two, father and son who both played Kamen Rider No. 1, engaged in a talk centered on the sense of heroism that is common to both Breitling and Kamen Rider.

The theme of the talk is "Marking Time".

Hiroshi Fujioka, who holds a license and pilots his own private plane, once owned a Breitling watch, which he described as a "reliable item." He also shared an anecdote about losing that watch on Amazon.

"After 55 years, I am truly delighted to be able to witness the announcement of new products related to Kamen Rider," said Hiroshi Fujioka and Maito before taking the stage. The theme of their talk was "Marking Time." Under this theme, they discussed the "time" they have accumulated and the commonalities between the limited edition model and the hero.

"First of all, I feel a wonderful sense of 'dignity' from this watch (which was released to commemorate the 55th anniversary of Kamen Rider). But even more important than that is the story behind this watch. Just like a hero, true value lies not only in their outward appearance, but also in the mission and resolve they carry. I feel that this watch quietly reflects the spirit of heroism that has been passed down through 55 long years." (Fujioka)

The Top Time B01 Racing Kamen Rider Limited, sold exclusively in Japan, can be seen on display at the pop-up shop.

Fujioka also previously owned a Breitling. "Actually, I have licenses for land, sea, air, and underwater operations. I also have an international pilot's single-engine license, so a Breitling watch, which is favored by pilots, is a watch that suits me well," he said, looking at the Top Time B01 Racing Kamen Rider Limited on his wrist as he took the stage—the eyes of a true Breitling enthusiast.

According to his father, Fujioka, he raised him quite strictly, but throughout Maito's talk, his respect for his father was evident, and there were moments when he named his father as his ideal hero.

Maito also spoke about the theme and special models for this event.

"It all started with the original No. 1 watch that my father built, and now, wearing this watch, I truly feel the weight of that long history spanning 55 years. Of course, the design is cool, but the substantial feeling when I wear it on my wrist isn't just weight; it feels like the history of the hero that has continued all this time."

What are the "recommended points" of Hiroshi Fujioka and Maito Fujioka?

During the event, there was even a moment where a father and son struck Kamen Rider transformation poses together!

During the talk, Maito pointed to the Top Time B01 Racing Kamen Rider Limited and said, "This model's design has some things in common with Kamen Rider. For example, the layout of the dial looks like a Rider belt. It's a combination that you could call a coincidence or even a miracle." We then asked the two of them what aspects of this work they would recommend to Kamen Rider fans.

"This watch is reassuring, reliable, and gives off a sense of strength; it's a watch that inspires confidence that it can withstand any conditions. I want my watch to be a partner I entrust my life to, and I would recommend this model because it's a watch that can live through life with you, like an extension of your own body." (Fujioka)

"The fact that it's made by Breitling makes it look cool, doesn't it? Plus, the silhouette of the Cyclone motorcycle (on the case back) and the words 'Eternal Hero' (inscribed on the tachymeter)... The history of Kamen Rider and Breitling's technology are packed into every detail, and that's what I find so appealing about this watch. I'd recommend it to both Kamen Rider fans and those who aren't." (Maito)

The pop-up shop is open until April 14th (Tuesday)!
