　Parmigiani Fleurier has unveiled its new "Tonda PF Chronograph Mystérieuse." This model reflects the vision of "private luxury," housing a chronograph in a minimalist design.

　The Milan blue dial, adorned with delicate barleycorn guilloché decoration, features five hands mounted coaxially in the center. Despite being a chronograph, it lacks sub-dials, giving it the appearance of a three-hand watch in its normal state.

　Pressing the push button at the 7:30 position causes the three rhodium-plated hands to align in a straight line at the 12 o'clock position, starting the chronograph function. Simultaneously, a rose gold hand hidden beneath the rhodium-plated hands appears to display the time. Pressing the push button again stops the chronograph hands, and pressing it a third time resets them. Upon reset, the chronograph hands overlap the time-display hands, returning the watch to the appearance of a three-hand watch. While simple in appearance, the mechanism possesses a complexity that sets it apart from conventional chronographs.

　The complex chronograph mechanism of this watch is made possible by the newly developed in-house automatic movement, Cal.PF053. Its triple-clutch structure, combining one vertical clutch and two horizontal clutches, allows for precise control of each hand. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 60 hours and, despite being an automatic chronograph, is remarkably thin at just 6.9mm.

　The case features the iconic "Tonda PF" design with an integrated bracelet. The knurled platinum bezel adds a touch of elegance.
